There Could Be a Very Good Explanation For the Coincidence of Having Matching Winston Churchill Tattoos

I for one cannot at all imagine Ted Cruz as “a player.” I don’t get the sense that this is a guy who has the energy or will to go out and buy the lotions and cologne, and silk smoking jackets required to juggle numerous affairs.

And now *they say the bimbo count is up to 8. “A Gang of 8,” if you will.

(Update: 8 mistresses is complete crapola. I guess it just sounded sexy to say “The Gang of 8. Five is ludicrous enough.)

This just doesn’t smell right. If this turns out to be true my world will be turned on its head, and I won’t trust my instincts for a long while.

KPark sent me this video with Bill Still. I’ve only linked to a couple of Still videos in the past 8 years, which tells me that subconsciously I probably don’t enjoy them all too much, for whatever reason. But when I saw the tattoo angle I felt like I should report it and let you guys decide what it could mean:

  1. I don’t like all these quotes given by people who are not named first off. And I think we could probably scare up some more people who did a fake tattoo of Churchill on April Fools Day if we tried. I’m with you Fur. I just don’t see Cruz as a player. As much as I like his brand of conservatism – to me he is not appealing physically in the least, and I remember a post by Mr. Pinko saying he’d met Cruz and didn’t find him particularly charismatic at all.

  2. I just don’t see it.
It doesn’t fit on an instinctual level.

Honestly, I could buy that maybe he messed up once with some lady that happened to be on the road with him a lot. Things happen, and I wouldn’t judge him for that or want to see him damaged for that as long as Heidi knew and they worked through it.

Five, EIGHT women? A Clintonesque thirst and roving eye?

    No way, no how.
Politics and policy is this guy’s mistress.

  3. Who knows if any of it is true, but when Amanda Carpenter responded on CNN yesterday to the question, there was ‘something’ about her response that raised my interest. She was too serious about it. Don’t know. If it had been me and I knew there wasn’t anything to the story I would have been laughing. She was already talking about her lawyers.

As far as Cruz being or not being attractive — looks have little to do with politics and its seductive powers. There’s also the trench warfare aspect to it that invites a siege mentality among the combatants. Anyone here who has spent time on a campaign knows that everyone is sleeping with everyone else and its probably a point of pride, maybe even conquest, to have slept with the big dog. Why do you think its always a sub-plot in every political/campaign movie and tee vee show? The West Wing, Primary Colors?

  4. I dunno…if someone wrongly accused me of having an affair with a married man – who also happened to be running for President, I’d take that pretty damned seriously, and would be hopping mad to boot. Once that kind of stuff is out there, it never quite goes away.

And eww. I cannot imagine being part of anything where I would aspire to screwing the top dog. But maybe that’s just me.

  5. Fur, Don’t know if you’ve gone back the 20 or so years into the Cruz’s political/government history, but there is a lot there to consider. He’s not the squeaky clean lad you seem to have fixed in your head/heart. I think he’s Bill Clinton redux. Not the sex side of Clinton, but the boy king who talked about incessantly about Jefferson. Cruz has the ability to wax romantically about the ideals of the founding, while giving himself a politically expedient pass. He sees himself as somehow unique — the kind of terminally unique that plagues addicts, a kind of “People just don’t understand how very special I am.”

  6. Sorry to any Bill Still fans – but that guy strikes me as skeevy. Bill states “The brother of one of Cruz’s lovers, who regularly appears on CNN as a contributor confirms his sister’s involvement with Cruz…”

Oh well, I guess that proves it, huh? Good grief.

  7. There has been a lot of talk that this whole Cruz scandal was started by the Rubio camp. Now that I can believe is possible due to the fact that Rubio suspended his campaign and the possibility of the GOP elite can get a brokered election and take down Cruz and having the delegates take out Trump at the convention.
The only thing I know so far is that the GOP knows how to screw up an election.
I am tired of the games.
If someone has the facts then come out with it now and stop this pussy-footing around .

  8. I can’t imagine that, if Cruz had that many lovers, in this day of everyone wanting their “15 minutes of fame”, the opposition, especially Trump, has not had at least one ‘lover’ interviewed!

Knowledge of Bill Clinton’s lovers was rampant, it was squashed, threatened and maligned by Hillary and her Clean-Up-Bill’s-Messes Crew. Even with overwhelming evidence, Hillary and Bill stood up and lied over and over again.

It really wasn’t ‘about the sex’, you liberal bastards; it was the LIES. And Hillary still doesn’t get it; WE DON’T TRUST HER.

PRIMARY COLORS, with John Travolta should be a good reminder of how difficult it is to hide a public person!s rabbit-like behavior. People talk and people know when people are playing around.

If Ted’s behavior is less than the God-like picture that Glenn Beck tries to paint, that might be a good thing. (I think Beck is the biggest problem to Ted’s credibility, right now).

Frankly, I really don’t want a perfect person leading the country, again. My cup runs over from the current ass that runs the country and refuses to take responsibility for ANYTHING and proclaims he is the smartest, most hip leader in the world.

  9. This is so angering to me.
Regardless of the truthfulness of these allegations, why is the lamestream media picking up on this and running with it, sensationalizing the allegations for ratings (or other nefarious reasons) but not looking for the truth first?
Why didn’t they go after obummer with at least 1/4 of the vigor they are applying to this stuff?
They had ample dirt and allegations in 2008 (man’s club, Larry Sinclair, the three church members who died mysteriously, Ayers, Davis).

    Grrrrrrrrr!

  10. Sam — And that’s the problem for Ted Cruz. He’s the one who made the decision to be portrayed (by Beck, especially) as a boy king, pure-hearted, reverent, stainless. Once you go down that road, politically, you have to pretend (as Bad_Brad said) that you never so much as left the toilet seat up. Now he’s having trouble in NY because he slammed “New York Values”, he’s got Glenn Beck convicting Christians (of which he is not one) of being apostates, and reciting lines from a movie and causing people to wonder just how genuine anything about him is.

  11. I might add that the unpopularity of Ted Cruz in DC, is one of the main reasons i follow him. He doesn’t play by “their” rules.

Rules made by DC, only for DC, while they royally decree, by executive orders, regulations, and laws, that DC makes for the country and from which they EXEMPT THEMSELVES.

Ted has cried wolf and ‘they’ malign him and shun him. Trump has done such a great job, with his dragon-like spewing of fire, at clearing the bullshit, or just overwhelming the press.

I mainly have a problem with some of the bullying tactics he uses on anyone who says anything against him. I’ve had ENOUGH of the bullying, that has been used by Obama and his department heads, for way too long and way too often.

  12. I hope this isnt true. If I was Heidi I would grill him on this Amanda chick. But for me I cant stand his nasally voice its annoying to me just like when Joe Lieberman ran I couldnt listen to him.

  13. I’m not claiming he’s squeaky clean.
There is certainly an ambitiousness there that seems to not be able to wait for tomorrow, and that ambitiousness *might* compromise certain ethical standards. Not career ending mistakes, but things that might irritate colleagues. Things that might earn some the reputation of a fearless pit bull, and others, with the wrong personality, the reputation of backstabbing worm. I leave it to you to sort out where Cruz is on that arc.

He seems rushed in his quest, and his fondness for measured dramatic cadence, something that I truly dislike about Cruz, has most likely been cultivated in an effort to mask his impatience.
    That’s my take.

Womanizing doesn’t fit well in my amateur armchair analysis of Ted Cruz.

I don’t think he deserves this.
Either you have the solid goods or you don’t.
This innuendo, left to the public to speculate about – including this blog, which doesn’t want to feel as if it’s clueless on the latest whispering – is cesspool politics.

  14. Sam — Trump is not a bully for responding to attacks made on him or his wife. That seems like an unreasonable standard to set. I don’t understand this “high road” mentality people think he should be engaged in. His opponents aren’t taking the high road, One of the reasons Trump is so popular is because we’re with him on not taking crap from politicians anymore. He’s fighting back instead of playing the role Romney played in ’12.

  15. There is a COMPILATION VIDEO of Ted Cruz & Women leaving Capital Grille and Hotel Tuesdays & Thursdays about to be released. Rubio wanted this video released sooner to knock Cruz out of the race.

  16. Cruz should have some fags come out saying they had “affairs” with him and then the media would shut the fuck up.

Or declare himself a closet musselman …

    izlamo delenda est …

  17. Hillary Clinton is in far worse shape than anyone could have hoped for at the beginning of her second triumphant run to be the first woman elected to the most important office in the world. She was getting her big arse kicked by a dottering old socialist, who drove her so far to the left that she looked more ridiculous than Bernie. Now, thanks to Trump and Cruz engaging in the biggest mud slinging contest in memory, she is practically ready to move back in to the White House. If any of this story about Cruz proves to have the slightest traction, we better hope there is a brokered convention, or this country is heading over the abyss.

  18. Honesty, all the angst over mud slinging and how it’s hurting Republicans is kind of nuts. This is politics. And “cesspool” politics is what politics is. It’s when everyone is ‘nice’ to each other that makes me nervous — “What are they cooking up against the people now?” Nice politics is why our oversight committees have been unproductive for almost eight years! Anyone remember whatever happened to Fast and Furious? How about the IRS scandal? And Hillary should be in prison now instead of campaigning for president. Elijah Cummings should be there, too. Nice gave us obamacare.

  19. ^^^^^^^^^^^ Marco.
This has been my concern from day one.

The worst case scenario for me since last year has not been a contested convention, but a months long contested primary.

This is the last thing we needed, the right fighting the right in the same way the left fights the right.

By the time we get to the general our candidate is going to smell like shit, no matter who it is.

I was hoping for Trump to roll and keep the wave going, with enthusiasm from the right, the same enthusiasm Ben Shapiro had for Trump 4 years ago, and we’d roll right over Hillary.

When the unhinged and unfair Trump opposition sprang into action (Trump only got better as a candidate than he was 4 years ago, yet Shapiro now thinks he’s Lucifer) I said I’d press a button and install Cruz as our candidate in a heartbeat, just to end the circus.

We are all frigged up now.

    We suck at this.
    It’s depressing.

  20. ^^^^ And what is the implication with the video above?

Do you think for a second Ted Cruz had anything at all to do with the casting of that ad? (The porno girl)

And Cruz mentioned a titty film as a college student?
    C’mon.

  21. Fur, I am completely convinced that if Trump has the nomination, he’s not going to need the approval of the NR and #NeverTrump crowds to run his kind of campaign against the Dem nominee. What’s more, Trump will single handedly unite and galvanize the GOP against the Left. And if certain die hards like Shapiro decide they’re going to continue the war against Trump after the convention, they’ll all end up looking as ridiculous as Beck — unhinged and pathetic. Trump will see to that.

  22. Well it seems Trump has decided to trot out the victim card on one side with Pierson attacking Heidi Cruz on MSNBC while claiming it isn’t right and that Cruz attacked Melania Trump.

    And on the other Trump is contradicting himself;

Although Trump is a close friend of the Enquirer’s CEO David Pecker, the real estate billionaire denied his involvement in the story.

“I have no idea whether or not the cover story about Ted Cruz in this week’s issue of the National Enquirer is true or not,” Trump said in a statement on Facebook on Friday, “but I had absolutely nothing to do with it, did not know about it, and have not, as yet, read it.”

Trump denied any connection with the tabloid, stating, “I have nothing to do with the National Enquirer and unlike Lyin’ Ted Cruz I do not surround myself with political hacks and henchman and then pretend total innocence.”
    http://www.bizpacreview.com/2016/03/26/trump-responds-to-accusations-he-had-a-part-in-national-enquirer-sex-story-on-cruz-321522?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter

So what he describes as bad what Cruz is doing, appears to be exactly what he is doing here. Using a henchman to attack Cruz as he claims Cruz did with a Rubio supporting Super PAC.

The difference is that unlike Trump having a close relationship to the National Inquirer through Pecker, Cruz has no such connection to Liz Mair and her “Make America Awesome” Super PAC.

So while Trump might want to claim one thing it doesn’t excuse his own actions. This is like Trump supporter claiming that Cruz set himself up high and is now falling. Well the same can be said of Trump having declared a standard by which he is failing to live up to here.

  23. And if certain die hards like Shapiro decide they’re going to continue the war against Trump after the convention, they’ll all end up looking as ridiculous as Beck — unhinged and pathetic. Trump will see to that.

Wow, so that is how we will treat those that may not agree with Trump if he gets the nomination, as “unhinged and pathetic”? And Trump will see to that like some enforcer? Is that really the world you want to see come to pass?

What’s wrong with just debating them? Winning them over? Maybe working to find common ground since they are on the same side of issues?

  24. He doesn’t strike me as a player either fur.

But I have worked with players and it is amazing how quickly they can bed a random woman in a town they have never been in.

    Ice cubes to Eskimos.

  25. BFH,

That’s why I think both the Facebook ad against Trump and this National Inquirer story are intended to hurt both the front runners with the idea of ensuring that contested convention where a guy like Rubio, Ryan. or Romney can get nominated without any or that many delegates.

It’s possible that neither candidate had anything at all to do with either attack and that this is intended to begin a distraction for the election keeping the delegate wins going back and forth until we get to the end and neither has enough and the establishment gets what they wanted.

I hope not, but it is beginning to look that way based on the real facts behind this whole episode.

  26. BFH, When Trump first jumped in, I liked what he was saying, but I didn’t like how he was acting. I keep waiting for him to start acting like a real presidential candidate. I’d like to hear him answer a single serious question before he starts reminding us what a great deal maker he is, or how great his buildings and businesses are. He is so deeply flawed as an individual that he can’t stop trashing the other candidates he vanquished. How many Bush or Rubio supporters will hold their noses and vote for Trump? At some point in this election, Hillary Clinton is going to make Sneering Donald look like an uninformed idiot on a debate stage, and there goes the next four years.

  27. Ted has something about him I don’t like
    So does Trump
If Ted would have supported Trump on the First Amendment I would have followed him through Hell itself
And with the Wife thing, Cruz knew where the wife thing started but reacted as if he didn’t.
All so he could make points against Trump
I don’t think the cheat thing is true.
    Ted is not the type
If Cruz is the nominee I will hold my nose and vote
Ted’s is a conservative, but there is a noticeable slime factor.
You do not choose a campaign manager with the industry nickname: Scum of the Earth and assume to run a squeaky clean operation.
Trump is a bull in a china shop, he will break everything.
But I think that is what’s needed here, especially after giving the GOP both houses of Congress and watching them piss away any advantage and bend over for the Left agenda.

  28. I don’t go toe to toe with anyone about their preferred candidate.

I was open to a majority of the 16.
Early on I was interested in Walker.
Then I was interested in Paul.
I was open to people’s arguments for Fiorina.

Where I draw the line is anyone working against the winner for the general.

I don’t want to hear the “I’m sick of holding my nose when I vote” bullshit. Not this time, because Trump was created as the wrecking ball who was going to smash the apparatus that made us hold our noses.

Now, suddenly, Trump is the “hold your nose” vote.

Pure crap. If that’s the case we have no one but ourselves to blame because early on nearly everyone was smitten with the notion that Trump was the wrecking ball.

Then Cruz became viable and everyone wanted to renegotiate the “deal with the devil.”

Hillary must not be the president – PURE AND SIMPLE.

I don’t want to hear the twisted strained and ridiculous explanations as to why it will be necessary to have President Hillary Clinton for the good of the GOP or conservatism or the tent or Salem Communications, or bla bla bal blaaaa

This is HILLARY CLINTON..and BILL CLINTON back in the White House.

Pick a pinky, right or left, and I will cut it off rather than have her be commander-in-chief of the military.
This is a woman who lied to military families over their son’s coffins.

I don’t want to hear your asinine explanations as to why it is NECESSARY to have her be president, you assholes, one and all.

  29. “I don’t think he [Cruz] deserves this.”

No more than Trump deserved A SINGLE DROP of the venom he has withstood FOR MONTHS. And yet…

AND YET, as AA says, this is the reality of politics.
    So: HELL YES HE DOES!

Though it would be nice in the ideal world if Cruz is NOT guilty of this, I’ve read that a number of political reporters have stated that they know of two (of the NE’s 5) who WERE involved with Cruz. That there are more now coming out of the woodwork raise that number.

Cruz is only human, but since he made his “true, principled Christian” *bed*, he has to sleep in it. Extra hard. We’ll see how this pans out.

FWIW: Don’t sweat it that the Right has “infighting” now; it RARELY sticks during the General Election campaigns.

  30. There are not EIGHT.

That has emerged from a parody NE report.

Spreading false rumors enables Crud, ..er Cruz to hide the truth.

My advice is to stay off this topic here at iOTWReport.

“Never wrestle with a pig. You both get muddy and the pig loves it.”

  31. Well, I don’t believe 5, so who cares if they say 8?
Gang of 8 certainly has its marketing allure.

We can’t avoid the story. We are a political site covering the primaries.
Every outlet in the world is covering it, including all over the Tee Vee. Why would we issue a blackout on it?

We’re not Treehousing it. (Hey, I invented a verb.)

  32. We’re about 40 comments in and no one is talking about the tattoos.
I think it’s the kind of thing that makes you sit up and pay attention.
It’s the sort of thing that is put into a prosecution’s case early on to get the jury turning their heads like dogs.

What are the odds that a woman who is supposedly romantically linked to Cruz shows off her Churchill tattoo on the very day Cruz is showing off his?

  33. It’s important to note that Cruz……

did not come out and say that he has not cheated on his wife with those 5…..err 8 women…..

and that he was filing a lawsuit against the National Enquirer…..

he only railed about how this came out and Trump’s involvement.

  34. TO Fur

Yes, the tattoo stuff is low-level persuasion at best.
    Emphasis on low.

I didn’t bookmark the article (sleepless night reading marathon an all); if I find it again, I’ll post it somewhere appropriate.

  35. BFH: “This just doesn’t smell right. If this turns out to be true my world will be turned on its head, and I won’t trust my instincts for a long while.”

That’s okay BFH, millions of lives have been turned upside down when we discover something or someone is not who or what they thought it to be. For me, it makes me more skeptical about people and who they claim to be. Yeah Ted is not appealing sexually, but when you are flashing money around and being an elected official, women don’t care as long as they are looked after. It doesn’t take nice lotions and cologne, it takes money and adventure, nice dinners out and a romp at a 5 star hotel. Remember Eliot Spitzer? How can we forget!

  36. Are the Churchill Tattoos a coincidence or proof of cohabitation? I don’t know, but it seems a bit suspicious. I have a really hard time accepting Ted Cruz having a bit of something on the side, but if he was running a line of four or five other women during the last couple of years it would be completely out of character for the Liberal press to let it go this long unexposed. They would have heard about it and wet their pants getting it in front of their fan base. The lack of an earlier outing seems to indicate that it isn’t true.

  37. BFH: What are the odds that a woman who is supposedly romantically linked to Cruz shows off her Churchill tattoo on the very day Cruz is showing off his?
    ———————————————-

I would say that the two of them are in the bed together. 🙂

You nailed it BFH and it deserves repeating! We may not like the shit slinging or how it makes us feel uncomfortable sitting here reading and commenting, but we are adults and have been through far worse stuff than this.

  39. in April of 2014, Carpenter was a speech writer and adviser to Sen. Cruz. Cruz got the tat in response to the (Sabo, I think) poster. I am sure Carpenter was aware of the plan, and perhaps advised him on it.

I don’t see one of his top advisers getting the same tat as anything salacious.

  40. TO Marco

You don’t seem to consider the tactic of media and political opponents “withholding” info until such time it can do the most damage.

    Timing…

  41. WTH, I happen to know a guy that knows a guy that always knows his facts and HE says he knows guy that knows the Lil pecker was pecking more than just his multiple wives, Ivana, Marla, and Melania so I might as well join in the fun.
Go run somebody else you don’t like into the fucking ground for a while OH, and call it “vetting the candidate” – THEN BE SURE to give him his credibility back when you find out YOU WERE WRONG.

To SMEAR merchant, Billy BITCH MOYERS and EVERYONE ELSE

You’re not nuts to hate their guts

See ya all in church for Easter tomorrow morning.

  42. I have never been a big fan of tattoos, because when I was younger, only sailors and motorcyclists had them. Times have certainly changed since my youthful days. These were temporary tats, so not such a big lifetime commitment, but are they proof of political copulation? One thing is certain: this story has legs, and this little tale of the tattoos will become a subject of more interest before the weekend is over. The woman with the coincidental Churchill tattoo will have to answer for her tat, it’s as simple as that.

  43. Somebody, somewhere, said, “Hey, lets bring out the playbook that was used on Herman Cain and we’ll use it on Ted Cruz.” Then after Cruz then all the buzz on these 8 will vanish and you will never hear about them again.

  44. Gee, it seems that back on April Fools in 2014 there was a reason for Cruz’s temporary Churchill tattoo, it was a gag on Fox;

The gag tied together two recent pop culture phenomena involving Cruz: one being a poster featuring a Photoshopped version of a tatted-up Cruz, and the other being Cruz’s recent attempt at a Winston Churchill impression.

Seems they got the idea from the impersonation he did one week before the April 1st broadcast. Now imagine having someone pick up a bunch of temporary tattoos with the intent to use one of them for the Fox broadcast. So others in the office ham it up by grabbing the leftovers and in this case Carpenter hammed it up and put it on Twitter with no idea it would later be used to “prove” an affair that never happened.

Yeah, that sounds so much more improbable than Cruz having 5 (or is it 8 now) affairs and somehow managing to keep everyone’s mouth shut so tight that no other evidence exists.

Yeah, I have more faith that Cruz is innocent in this episode than I do that Trump will stick to his current positions.

  45. To me there is absolutely no doubt that Cruz is a good man and I seriously doubt that he cheats on his wife. You’ll have to take this advice from a 70 something year old woman who had a cheating husband long ago. I was in El Paso, Texas about 2-3 years ago and the Republican party notified all of the 20 or so members that Cruz was planning a visit. I’d already heard of him and signed right up. I wasn’t disappointed. Got to speak to him in person and thought he was everything I thought….we’re talking governing. He is a FAR cry from Trump. He is intelligent and well spoken. Trump can’t even put two words together and reeks of stupidity. God help us if he is elected.

  46. Woody,
Yes, I was just having a discussion with someone and they floated this very same scenario, with a few minor alterations.

But I would be remiss in pointing out that they didn’t preface their theory with “Gee.”

I’d encourage you to stop that sort of thing if you do not enjoy the same attitude thrown back at you.

Stick to saying things like “you appear to have been hit on the head.” And bury it deep in the comment.

Saying, “uhhhhhhhh” or “geeee” or “duhhhh” right out of the gate?
    Bad move.

  47. Woody & Mizdoolally, I tend to agree with both of your comments. The tattoos are probably a result of the Fox appearance, and Cruz seems to be an unlikely bounder of the “Matressback Jack Kennedy” type or a serial pervert like “Billyboy Matressback Jack Wannabe.” The real big question is if this will cripple Ted Cruz to the extent that his foes hope?

  48. In 2014, Carpenter was officially Ted Cruz’s speech writer.
I’m not sure of any other speech writers who travel with the candidate, hang out at the office, or prepare them for Fox appearances.
    I could be wrong, though.
Maybe she was with Cruz that day.

All the online shopping avenues that I’ve found say the tat comes in a set of two.
    Not bunches, like you’ve suggested.

  49. In January 2013, Carpenter became senior communications adviser and speechwriter for Senator Ted Cruz. It is not a stretch to think Carpenter hatched the plan for his Fox appearance, ordered the tats and used the extra for herself. If it weren’t for the Pecker story, it wouldn’t indicate anything.

The senior communications adviser and her boss getting the same tat at the same time in response to that tat poster seems fairly logical.

  50. The Tat thing is a little bit strange, it smacks of a ‘couple’ thing.
However it’s a long haul to Cleveland
If I get stuck with Cruz I will support him gladly
But then I would vote for Cerberus for President before I vote for Hilary.
Even though Cerberus and Hilary do not seem to differ that much on policy.

  51. It doesn’t smell right to me.
Fake// temporary tattoos no big deal. I bought 10 booklets of temp Grumpy Cat tattoos on Amazon for a shelter event. All the crazy old cat women were wearing the same. You can also buy the designs for air brushing numerous places including Amazon.
Every fair or carnival I’ve been to has a booth doing the same designs.

On the other hand I did have a wild fling with Cruz, Donald, a few of the Dan’s, BFH, Bad_Brad, Mr. Pinko and several unnamed others all at the same time when I was 38. What a day!
Best damn 30 seconds of my life.

  52. @ RightWinger, I think you’re right about the Caining of Cruz. A few weeks ago I tried to find out what happened with Cain’s accusers and could find nothing. They’ve crawled back under their rocks.

  53. @Czar:

    Generally speaking,

    POWER brings MONEY and FAME
MONEY brings POWER and often, FAME
FAME brings MONEY and sometimes, POWER

Because of this, I tend to see all three things as just different forms of the same drug. And a very seductive drug it is, too.

    ?

  54. Scenario:
Cruz’s handlers give Cruz a less nerdy complexion: make him look badass, (the tat and bacon-gun) sexual, and cosmopolitan (less rigid); get more free publicity; get an opportunity to label Trump as the source of real or contrived mistresses scandal (sympathy and Trump hatred); purposely set scenarios that GOP establishment (Rubio campaign) is using to defeat Trump and eventually Cruz himself.

Not far fetched. House of Cards anyone?

  55. BFH,

All the online shopping avenues that I’ve found say the tat comes in a set of two.
    Not bunches, like you’ve suggested.

My bunches comment was intended as they might have bought multiple packs in case they messed up the application or they might have found multiple type of a given tattoo, like multiple tattoos of Churchill, just different poses.

I was just floating the idea because I know when I have been around folks getting ready for a media appearance they always have backup plans to backup plans if they are at all concerned about looking good.

It just seemed logical that they might have had multiple packs of the same tattoo as a backup since I don’t think they were that expensive were they?

  56. I’m a male sailor and a biker. My female roommate and I, both bikers and sailors in the military, went out one day and got REAL tattoos. We never slept with each other. Ever. This is a stupid Herman Cain-like smear tactic. Stop wallowing in the mire and stop smearing our own candidates. Good grief.

  57. Like that Trump picture of Donald and Ivanka?

    Okay, I went there.

    This story is crap.
Blaming it on Trump is also crap.
This was a Rubio operation from day 1.

#TheThing started this off, and that was a Rubio camp hashtag.

  58. @ Woody

Just went back and realized I missed your post saying:

“I hope not, but it is beginning to look that way based on the real facts behind this whole episode.”

I agree, and that’s where I was going with my post. The elitists are screwing with all of us.

Plus, one has to look to see what great wonders Obama is doing now while we are looking for squirrels.

  59. some younger woman, infatuated with her powerful boss, gets one of the tattoos he ordered and sticks it on.

but then again, i had a buddy who was ugly as sin, but the women went for him, time and time again. We all just shook our heads. he must have had some primal scent.

  60. I wish I could say I’m amazed at how quickly many people have already tried and convicted Cruz without solid facts, not simple innuendo. I won’t say if I like Cruz or not – that’s unimportant. What IS important is to demand proof before hanging him. There are way too many people doing the dems dirty work for them. Chill until you know more.

  61. It’s just a private matter between consenting adults – if true.

It should consume the 24 hr. news cycle for weeks – if false.

In the land of smoke and mirrors, where damned near everything put out for public consumption is a filthy fucking lie – from the unemployment numbers to Benghazi – I just can’t get exercised over this.

    izlamo delenda est …
