A lot of people are beyond exhaustion with being labeled what they are not while watching those doing the name calling benefit from the accusation and demonization.

As someone who is actually descended from slaves (unlike Barry) and lived through the 60s and 70s, and whose father grew up in rural Mississippi in the 30s and 40s, there are times when you have to call a nigger a nigger. It has nothing to do with skin color, as has been mentioned previously, but behavior. There was a time when it was a common pejorative, but black people pretty much took that away by overuse of the word. I am beyond exhausted regarding the over overvictimization of us blacks.
