It’s time for people who believe they are “woke” to be enlightened about a certain phrase.
Tom Arnold sat with Anderson Cooper pontificating about the “alt-right” continually calling black people monkeys, and then followed his righteous admonition by calling the president “white trash.”
Cooper sat there unblinking, letting Arnold insult people of color. YES, PEOPLE OF COLOR.
I cannot believe in this age of nuance and over-analyzation and hyper-interpretation of every utterance that this concept escapes the grievance industrial complex.
Why didn’t Arnold say “this trash president”?
Why is there a need to put in the qualifier “white”?
It’s because in the minds of racists like Tom Arnold and Anderson Cooper, trash is not usually white. Trash is non-white. So when you want to communicate to people that you’re not talking about the “usual” trash you say they are “white trash.”
Don’t believe me? Then why do you never hear the term “black trash”?
Put simply, trash, without a qualifier, does not mean white.
Tom Arnold is too stupid to see his white supremacy, or white privilege, or white something showing. Anderson Cooper is just too stupid in general.
