  1. Maybe the closeted Homosexual Top Ten ….(To be fair I didn’t make it past #10 &

#9)……I loathe David Bowie….He’s right there with U2…..

  2. This list is probably a good indicator of the age and gender of the subscribers to this particular YouTube channel.

I found many of the albums I’d put on my top 10 list here, which probably says a lot about my age and gender as well.

  3. I thought the cover of Who’s Next was the pissiest album cover of all time, not the s**tiest.

The live version of Rumours was probably done by the Stevie Nicks band. (FM was on TV a couple of years ago and that’s what the rest of the band had been reduced to.)

Different people say how good Pet Sounds is so I should add it to my collection. It is a plus that Good Vibrations is NOT on it. To say I am burned out on that song is an understatement. — even if I do remember KJR playing it right after midnight on Christmas morning, 1966.

I like to watch this guy’s videos from time to time, even if our tastes make a Venn diagram whose circles barely touch.

  4. Flabbergasted at the inclusion of Fleetwood Mac Rumours.
I enjoyed the old Fleetwood Mac prior to their popstar transformation.
Listen to “Hypnotized” pre Nicks and Buckingham.

  5. What matters is what YOU like. I don’t listen to music because others like it. Yes, of course it’s nice to know that others may also like what I like, but once you get past the bubble gum, immature years of feather-weight peer-pressure music your horizons open up and you start appreciating music of different genres and eras. There is a LOT more to music than the top ten anything!

  6. Going into the list, I said it would be a fraud if it didn’t have “Bat Out of Hell” on it. On the other hand, I must commend the lack of U2.

  7. Looking from right now backwards, not from 1974, there’s a couple bands that need to be considered. The Black Crows. Weezer, and I’m going with Def Leppard too. If you go by sales Micheal Jackson had some killer shit that I would never listen to. LOL.
    Fleetwood Mac, yea, probably.

  8. Lots of good albums over the years, I’m not suggesting the many favorites are not worth being on the list. However, The Doors, LA Woman, and Morrison Hotel are among my favorites. Jefferson Airplane, 30 Seconds Over Winterland had a couple great songs. Savoy Brown, Hellbound Train is good. And this is not even touching the good Blues bands. So anyway, there’s no such thing as the 10 best albums.

  9. I went to the blues in the late 70’s….I will forever be glad not to hear Led Zeppelin, the Beatles and Leonard Skynyrd ever again….Gonna go turn some surf music up with Dick Dale for you Cali-boyz….

  10. Jimi Hendrix “Electric Ladyland”, Van Halen I, Fresh Cream, Pet Sounds, all early Stones albums, Dark Side of the Moon, The Doors I, The Who Live at Leeds, Elton John’s Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, The Allman Brothers, ‘At Fillmore East’, Led Zeppelin I…. and any Taylor Swift album (HAAAAAAAAAAAAA!)
