Trump Invokes God, Prayer, Unity and Love

(CNSNews.com) – A somber President Donald Trump addressed Americans Monday morning, following the worst mass shooting in the nation’s history.

More than 50 people died and more than 400 were injured when a 64-year-old man opened fire from the 32nd floor of a Las Vegas hotel room on some 22,000 people attending an outdoor country music concert on Sunday night.

The gunman killed himself when police broke into his hotel room at Mandalay Bay.

“In times such as these, I know we are searching for some kind of meaning in the chaos, some kind of light in the darkness. The answers do not come easy,” the president said.

Here is a transcript of the president’s remarks:

  1. SORRY TO BRING POLITICS INTO THIS, BUT…CAN YOU IMAGINE THE HILLARY VERSION??? I THANK GOD EVERY DAY FOR TRUMP!!

GOD BLESS THE FAMILIES OF THE LOST AND INJURED, PRAYERS FOR THE SPEEDY RECOVERY OF THE WOUNDED, THANK YOU FOR OUR NEW LEADER!!

  2. Just listened to a briefing by local law enforcement: 58 dead, 510 wounded. Staggering.

If Paddock was a Trump- and Trump supporting hater, I hope the people doing the investigating are honest and explicit about it. The media said NOTHING about the connection and motivations of James Hodgkinson’s attempted murder rampage against Steve Scalise and the other Republicans on the baseball field. Not saying Paddock is, but I’ll just bet he was and he was inspired by Hodgkinson.

God bless and keep those who are clinging to life in those hospitals and comfort those whose lives are forever changed because of this evil.

  3. “If Paddock was a Trump- and Trump supporting hater, I hope the people doing the investigating are honest and explicit about it.”

AA, don’t hold your breath. If he was an anti-Trump psychopath, we won’t hear it from the MSM. Why change their shameful ideology now? Pitiful, sick press doing all a disservice.
