Trump signs executive orders to overhaul government procurement, office space

Washington Times:

President Trump on Tuesday signed a slew of executive orders overhauling how and where the federal government spends taxpayer money, directing agencies to move to rural areas and purchase more off-the-shelf items.

  1. p.s. amazing that those prior presidential orders drove.the government to choose the most high cost and highest cost to renovate areas.

Here’s another great idea (not mine): turnoff the air-conditioning. …and (my addition) the heating.

Don’t let women control the damn thermostat.
Women want it hot in the winter and hot in the summer.
Hat tip, dress for the season, not for what’s cute.

  3. Brad,

“I’m thinking that about half of his E.O.s are normally a function of Congress.”

That’s why the House needs to stop going on vacation and codify those EOs now. Make them law in Congress so the aren’t reversed at the first opportunity of the Left!

If Speaker Johnson isn’t up to the job or is actually running out the time until the Midterm, hoping to lose his job to his real side, the Democrats, well it’s time to get a new Speaker.

Anyone got any suggestions? Remember, it doesn’t have to be a member of the House!

  4. Just what we (rural dwellers) need; a gaggle of effete, impudent snobs (thanks, Spiro T. Agnew) descending on our heartland bringing their maggotry with them and wholly screwing up the local economy.
