Two Prison Guards Connected to Epstein Death Charged

Federal law enforcement officials have announced charges against two U.S. Bureau of Prisons employees reportedly responsible for keeping watch over wealthy financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein in the hours leading up to his death.

The employees were expected to be taken into custody Tuesday on charges relating to alleged dereliction of duty on the night of Epstein‘s death at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan, The New York Times reported.

According to a Department of Justice news release, Tova Noel and Michael Thomas are charged with falsifying official documents to “defraud the United States by impairing the lawful functions” of the MCC and bury workplace improprieties that may have indirectly resulted in Epstein’s death. read more

  1. Patsies. What are the authorities going to do to them? Likely not much. I’d bet their recent banking transactions are interesting.

  2. Whatever became of that post mortem pic of the body that was supposed to be Epstein… but clearly wasn’t? I still think he’s alive.

  3. Two officers did not make their required rounds every thirty minutes and falsified records to show that they did make rounds. We can speculate all day long, but how are they responsible for the only two cameras on Epstein’s cell malfunctioning at the same time? Even a tiny piece of brain will question so many coincidences. And yes, I too think the officers are patsies.

  4. Where are the tapes from his homes? The ones with Bill Clinton and Prince Andrew and all those star struck underaged girls? According to some news accounts, Epstein video taped practically everything that happened in certain rooms in every home that he owned. These tapes must have been stored somewhere for a “life insurance policy” that has unexpectedly expired. Epstein was just another victim of Trump’s unexpected election. He never would have been arrested or denied bail if Bill Clinton’s wife had been elected. Elections have strange consequences.

  5. One of these guards will die. The other will absolutely not raise any defense for fear of his life.

Can you hear Hillary cackling as you read this?

  6. …this isn’t new, Shakespeare wrote about what happens to “sleepy” guards under such circumstances…

    Your royal father ‘s murder’d.
    O, by whom?
Those of his chamber, as it seem’d, had done ‘t:
    Their hands and faces were an badged with blood;
So were their daggers, which unwiped we found
    Upon their pillows:
They stared, and were distracted; no man’s life
Was to be trusted with them.
O, yet I do repent me of my fury,
    That I did kill them.
    Wherefore did you so?
Who can be wise, amazed, temperate and furious,
Loyal and neutral, in a moment? No man:
    The expedition my violent love
Outrun the pauser, reason. Here lay Duncan,
    His silver skin laced with his golden blood;
And his gash’d stabs look’d like a breach in nature
For ruin’s wasteful entrance: there, the murderers,
Steep’d in the colours of their trade, their daggers
Unmannerly breech’d with gore: who could refrain,
That had a heart to love, and in that heart
Courage to make ‘s love kno wn?”

  7. ‘Dosing’ on an overtime night shift assignment is not the norm, but it happens.
I would like to know who assigned these staff & who maintained the non-working video cameras.
Epstein did not kill his self

  8. Obviously the guards though “Suicide Watch” meant they would watch Epstein commit suicide.
Doesn’t take a genius to guard someone locked in a cage, or to look the other way when someone opens it.

  9. The worst that can be done to these minor players for what they did or didn’t do is unlikely to come near offsetting what they were paid for it, and even if it does, what difference, at this point, does it make? Whoever actually offed Epstein will probably never get caught; whoever paid them will certainly not. Epstein may not have killed himself, but he’s dead.

  10. I’m hoping they piled on the charges in hopes one or both of the guards will testify against whoever paid them off. Either way, they are dead men.

  11. It’s not enough because we should be doing much better, but most certainly, God will get those responsible.

    There’s always that.

  12. BS. They are the fall guys. Taking a hit for the higher-ups. I will not believe anything by officials of the NY governments, city or state, uttered about Epstein. He is the man who knew too much to be allowed to live.
