So, the US is borrowing over a trillion dollars a year just to give it away? Maybe those countries need to borrow it themselves. I’m in favor of disaster relief, but not much else.
There has never, not one time, been government funded charity of this stripe that has ever delivered even 10% of what was appropriated to the population that was ostensibly to receive help. Not one time. It has never happened.
Every last example has been a money laundering operation and it applies to public money politicians “generously” donate to NGOs and non profits. Every single last example without exception. What you are always going to find is that friends, family and business associates of politicians are getting fat paychecks and I believe it was Bob Dole’s wife who was hauling down twenty times what she ever could in any legitimate job in one of these scandalous and disgraceful money grabs.
