  1. I am from Saskatchewan and am for Alberta and Saskatchewan leaving Canada and becoming a “protectorate” of the United States. If we go, then, you can bet the house that the Yukon and NWT would also leave. Then the United States would have a land corridor to Alaska and access to some of Canada’s Artic ports. Stranger things have happened.

  2. Hmmm…and they said President Trump was nuts for mentioning acquiring Greenland from Denmark. Methinks there is something sneaky going on between China and Russia that we don’t know about.

  3. Ice breaker
    2 oz tequila
    1/2 oz triple sec
    2 oz grapefruit juice
    1/2 oz grenadine
Blend with ice and strain into cocktail or wine glass.
    A refreshing summer drink.

  4. If we’re going to stop relying on China they will need more heavy breakers for the Great Lakes to keep shipping going year round. I live in a part of Michigan that has a Coast Guard station and a Ice Breaker/Bouy Tender. More and larger ships would be needed to keep the shipping lanes open in the winter months.

  5. “Ice breakers? Like, ‘does this handkerchief smell like ether to you?'”
    That one works for me.
