A massive statue of Vladimir Lenin was torn down Thursday in Ukraine after a days-long struggle by authorities and workers to execute the maneuver.

The removal of the statue, part of an ongoing push by Ukrainian leaders take down remnants of its Soviet past, was streamed live on YouTube, attracting thousands of viewers, Reuters reported.

  1. TIMBER! BYE BYE LENIN. Whatever you do don’t send it to Seattle, they have already have a small statue of Bad Vlad in Fremont Square. Too bad they can’t do like Moses did with the golden calf idol Aaron and the rest of the rest of the Israelites created while Moses was up on Mt. Sinai talking to God. Moses ground it to powder and made them drink it and killed a lot of disobedient revelers who were worshipping a false god.
