Just The News: A bystander was shot and killed on Saturday evening during a “No Kings” protest in Salt Lake City, Utah, officials said.
“Arthur Folasa Ah Loo, 39, was shot and killed while attending the permitted event. Our detectives believe he was an innocent bystander. Arturo Gamboa, 24, was arrested and booked into jail on a charge of murder,” police said on social media. more
In Utah……Did “…..alleged rifleman, Arturo Gamboa, 24…..” actually shoot anyone……???? This might be a hard case to prosecute……

The article I read said it was a “peacekeeping team” who fired the shots without specifying if it was law enforcement or civilian volunteer. I’ll be interested to know what the idiot with the AR thought he was doing there, assuming there is any kind of follow up this story.
Dr. Tar: from what I read, the shooter wore a yellow vest that designated members of the “Peacekeeping team,” so I am pretty sure he is with the organizers — at least until the Secretary disavows any knowledge of his activities. Shall we have a pool as to how long it will be before he is called a MAGA operative?

This does remind me of the WTO riots in Seattle. The “marshals” wore yellow t-shirts. I knew where they weren’t supposed to go, but I saw people with yellow t-shirts directing protesters south onto 5th Avenue towards the Westin where they were not supposed to go.

From what I got out of the many articles, Gamboa did not fire his weapon. He had an AR pistol and a gas mask in his backpack. He was obviously a crazy-eyed antifa. That is probably why he was being tailed by security (“peacekeepers”). When he stopped behind a concrete barrier and allegedly pulled out the AR, security confronted him. He took off towards the marchers, carrying the AR, which he may have been pointing at the crowd, or not, and was shot by security, who also shot and killed a bystander. Gamboa, still with the AR, rejoined the crowd, until apprehended by a protester who noticed the butt of the AR sticking out of his backpack.
From what witnesses were saying, I am not sure Gamboa knew what was going on, or that he had been shot and wounded.
I don’t think that security were professional, just volunteers with guns, perhaps with dreams of a justified shooting.
Last night, there was another shooting here that killed bystanders. It was at the closing night of West Valley City’s West Fest. An argument was taking place between two groups, as often happens at West Fest. As police approached to calm things down, a 16 year old took out a gun and began firing into the opposing group. An officer then started shooting at the 16 year old, missing him (if he emptied his magazine, that would be a lot of stray bullets). Two bystanders, a woman and an infant, were shot and killed. Also killed was a man in one of the groups. Two other bystanders received wounds to their arms. It is unknown whose bullets killed whom.
People need to calm down, be aware of everything they are shooting toward, and spend more time at the range.
It’s only going to get worse. The Dems want to see us bleed (punishment for not voting for them).
Nevertheless, the “Resistance” is futile. Trump’s poll numbers will continue to rise…unless he flinches.
To the “victim”: When you lie down with dogs, you get fleas. You hung out with the wrong crowd.
We should call them the “no brains” protests.
Why carry an unloaded gun? Are you gonna use it like a hammer?
