W.H.O. Rescinds Goodwill Ambassadorship For African Tyrant Robert Mugabe

On Wednesday,  the World Health Organization (W.H.O.) announced that it has appointed Zimbabwe’s president for life, Robert Mugabe, as its new goodwill ambassador. The organization was soon swamped in worldwide protest at the utter tone-deafness of showering such an honor on the man who has destroyed his nation’s  healthcare system while frequently flying to Singapore to receive life extending treatment for himself.

The W.H.O. has officially withdrawn the title today.

The appointment itself should cause nations to look carefully at what is going on at the W.H.O. and the phenomenon of regulatory capture of transnational institutions by corrupt bureaucrats from pariah nations.

  1. Why isn’t Mugabe put on charges of “Crimes against humanity?”

Cuz he’s black and the victims were white?

  2. Maybe who finally considered a thug, a murderer and the destroyer of Zimbabwe’s economy was not the ideal role model for the UN. On the other hand he is perfect!! Inflation in Zim was 25,ooo%!

  3. They not only got it wrong, they picked one of maybe the ten worst choices on Earth.
How do you screw up that badly?
What the hell is going on over there?

  4. Business as usual at the UN. Someone thought no one would notice. I don’t suppose laying a judgment against him for being not culturally competent would mean much coming from that crew.

  5. These idiots have their collective heads so far up their asses ,that they forgot the Mission !
Looking at his lively photo there, I’d say the only thing he’s ready for is another Banana !!!

  6. Bruce Allen – perfect comment. Perfect! Now if only we could convince McCain that he is desperately needed by America to campaign for Cankles!

  7. Last night Robert Mugabe was hacked to death with machete’s on the front steps of his home. He bled out while feebly calling for help as passersby ignored his cries.
Oh, sorry that was a dream, I slept well.
