National Pulse: The Washington Post has published an opinion editorial by “historian” Mark Bray, author of the contentious AntiFa Handbook which has been endorsed by radical left politicians such as Keith Ellison. Worse still, Bray’s endorsements of violence were even condemned by his own college.
Following the news that President Trump is seeking to have AntiFa – the pro-Communist, extremist entity believed to be behind many of America’s current riots – designated as a terror group, WaPo published the following headline: “Antifa isn’t the problem. Trump’s bluster is a distraction from police violence.”
The article attacks President Trump for his approach to AntiFa:
Trump’s reckless accusations lack evidence, like many of his claims. But they also intentionally misrepresent the anti-fascist movement in the interest of delegitimizing militant protest and deflecting attention away from the white supremacy and police brutality that the protests oppose.
But Bray, in what feels like a victory lap, actually admits AntiFa is an integral part of cities burning across the United States today. He says:
