The guy does a good job of presenting the chronology, but what he misses is the root cause. Progressivism and its inevitable end, Wokeism, is a dark cloud hanging over Portland and its sister city Seattle, the Puget Sound metropolitan region and PDX.
It is insidious and it is destructive and it inevitably results in increased innocent human suffering, misery and death. It is a pernicious, nasty worldview that if allowed to prosper attracts, encourages and enables malevolent pricks like shit attracts flies.
In Washington and Oregon the Satanists have usurped control over State government and have been doing their utmost to consolidate their gains and further entrench it into the communities already affected while pushing it out to Durban communities and then to every corner of the State.
They have been using their control over federal money flowing into both Washington and Oregon to insert graduates of the University of Washington Urban Planning School and Portland State University’s Tulatin Planning School into every jurisdiction in the state and take over local government from within.

You could change the name “Portland” to “Salem” or “Eugene”, and the story would be pretty much the same. The left have pretty much destroyed these cities, and are now working on destroying the smaller communities surrounding them.

I’m not so sure the country is any more divided than it’s been, but a lot more good and decent people are coming to grips with the truth, talking the advice I have been giving and are no longer conceding good intentions to out and proud followers of Satan. It took the bastards shoving it in their faces in 2020 when the bastard’s leaders told them they had won and no longer had to hide what they are and who they serve for a lot of good, decent people to accept it. There is no putting that genie back in the bottle now though.

A government that can order things no better than this should be shown the door post haste! There is NO PRIDE in running a jurisdiction so poorly. It probably would be better to eliminate all government in those cities and allow citizens to straighten things out and install a… wait for it… representative government elected by the CITIZENS.
