Many people around the world believe in karma — that idea that divine justice will punish people who do bad deeds and reward those who good. But that belief plays out differently for oneself versus others, according to research published by the American Psychological Association.

People are more likely to believe that they’ve earned good things in their own life through karmic merit, while bad things that happen to other people are due to karmic punishment, according to the study, published in the journal Psychology of Religion and Spirituality. More

  1. My late good and wise friend Robert observed, “If you accept Karma, then you have to accept that the Jews deserved the Holocaust.”

    JFTR, I do not accept Karma. However, the idea that it’s ‘cosmic justice’ when the guy who voted to defund the police has to wait an hour and a half for the cops to arrive when he’s been car-jacked at gunpoint is mighty attractive.

    The world “borrows” principles of God, then the consequences of our actions, good or bad becomes Karma – based on pagan Eastern religions that have many gods, who represents misdirection, confusion and chaos.
    The result of men wanting to skip the responsibility of knowing The True and Living God. Yet, they want to follow standards they consider good. God alone defines what’s good and what’s bad;
