This past Thursday, 43-year-old Ferguson resident Carmen A. Fluker pleaded guilty “in federal court to a felony charge of promoting prostitution,” reports the St. Louis Post-Dispatch:
Fluker, according to an indictment against her in May, went by Carmen Simmons,” “Carmen Lacy” and “Lucious.” A tipster told police that Fluker hosted parties at the one-story brick bungalow in the 400 block of Warfield Avenue, search warrants revealed. The parties featuring nude dancers, a dancing pole, liquor sales, drugs and a VIP room for private dances.
The VIP room was really the bedroom of a teenage boy, who bartended at the parties, authorities have said. Fluker would send text messages to prospective patrons and dancers when she was going to be open.
Talk about parent of the year, right? Regardless, Carmen Fluker returns to hurt on February 5 to receive her sentence, which could amount to “five years in prison and a $250,000 fine.”
Cue the “Mother Flucker” jokes… 3.. 2.. 1…
