CNN’s Jake Tapper looks into
the Justice Department’s court filing that said it has no evidence to support President Donald Trump’s assertion in March that his predecessor, Barack Obama, wiretapped the phones in Trump Tower before last year’s election.
One thing the video confirms though is that Comey was outright lying in his testimony before congress when he claimed that the FBI nor the DOJ had any evidence that “confirmed Trump’s tweet” regarding being “wire tapped”.
At least Tapper did something worthwhile by providing this historical clip of Comey lying, even if that wasn’t his intention.
