This was a real big deal at the time! Someone who was untethered could just be drawn off into the vortex and never seen again, we thought.
Flying with just a backpack, brave man and did his country honor. RIP sir.
Major Tom to ground control.
I know who it was. Sandra Bullock
THIS is what it looks like when someone has brass balls.
Now, contrast that against Obama in the pool with water-wings.
RIP, sir.
RIP Sir!
“The iconic photo of Bruce soaring effortlessly in space has inspired generations of Americans to believe that there is no limit to the human potential,” Sen. John McCain said in a statement.”
So, Mr. McCain, where will your legacy be in the end of your life here on earth? Like the astronaut who did nothing more than to propel himself untehered with his teeth chattering and cold as hell, what have either of you accomplished at the taxpayers expense? Hint: No one is leaving this earth alive!
A cosmic first.
Had to be a negro, a reaghead, or a hen.
Played by Samuel L. Jackson in the movie – or Morgan Freeman?
RIP – a Truly Brave Man.

Not surprising he had the right stuff to do the space walk. He came from good stock, a descendant of Big Jake McCandless (John Wayne)
