  1. Majority of draftees in WWII were malnourished.
Same in WWI. And the Generals bitched about that.

    We’re an affluent nation.

Armed Forces know how to deal with it.

  2. Hey Generals and Admirals,

Take a good look in the mirror. No program will work until the flag officers set the example, and a quite a few of you need to get on a plan.

  3. Keep in mind that many of the flag officers are in great shape. Also, every year there are 3-4 thousand 4th class cadets in the Academies and of those there are several thousand turned away and I am not counting all the athletic scholars at the other schools. The one’s that stand out are like the one here in the photo. They don’t care. It should be just for mission readiness, being fit needs to be a lifestyle,

  4. Every kid sits on his/her ass too much. Everything is sitting. When I was a kid we had nothing to do and no money. So we hiked in the woods. At least 5 miles a weekend. We also took bicycle trips, long trips. As I got older I would head out on my dirt bike for the day.
    You have to stay active.
One thing the apple watch does is remind people to stand who are sitting all day.
You have to be F’n kidding me. No wonder your fat.

  5. old man is right. too much sitting. Many forms of entertainment include a couch. TV, iphone, tablet, playstation, xbox, all that. And don’t forget the hours per day on facebook and instagram, snapchat, all the social media.

Who has time to do anything physical anymore? You gotta unplug first!

People can’t go 5 minutes without being online or texting someone.
