“SIR, I WILL NOT OBEY THAT ORDER.” – IOTW Report

“SIR, I WILL NOT OBEY THAT ORDER.”

If you were raised to despise the US military as a source or repression and injustice, and then, say, happened to get elected as its Commander-in-Chief — what would you do? As Bill Whittle shows in his latest FIREWALL, you don’t need to destroy the weapons and you don’t even need to fire the warriors. There’s another way…

  1. I’m sure it has gotten worse under Barky, but this is not new. My father, a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy in 1942, a WWII submariner in both the Atlantic and Pacific, and the skipper of his own boat, retired from the Navy after 22 years because of the political crap storm that made the service unbearable to him.

    That was in 1964.

  2. @crazyeighter – As a practical matter, it doesn’t matter if you’re right if your objective is to stay in the service. Refusing to obey an illegal order is a career ender. It shouldn’t be so, but it is, alas.

  3. Two of my four sons left the Navy when Obama was elected. They saw the writing on the wall and I believe they did the right thing. I saw two Army soldiers at Academy the other day and asked what they thought of their Commander in Chief. They looked at me nervously and said they would rather not comment about that. That statement spoke volumes.
The same thing is happening everywhere and that is why I retired from ExxonMobil two years ago after 32 years with them. I really enjoyed my job but got tired of the PC BS.

  4. Those men that are leaving because of PC are going to be the worst thing that these bastards will face when(or if) TSHTF. They will have the experience, training and will have seen up close just what REgressives truly intend for the military. And us.

And you want to talk of motivation? It’d be off the charts. Obama(Jarrett) really has no fucking idea what (s)he’s doing.

In 1964 Uncle Al you had a CIC, or just did, who served in WWll-Obama has no connection to the military, any public displays of patriotism is strictly self serving.

  5. Hussein 0bama is doing more damage to America than any previous military adversary has ever done.

The fact that he is still in office and not in prison is a good indicator of the level of corruption in Washington.

Got to stop this right away. It’s gone way past the point where we can recover what we’ve lost.

  6. Every exServiceman has sworn an oath to uphold the Constitution from all enemies foreign and domestic.
Fear us by the MILLIONS and do not underestimate the power of the second amendment!

  7. The good Generals and Majors are being weeded out and have been for some time. I saw a list once that showed how many had been forced out. Wish I could remember where.

Yes, you’re quite correct, but at least I’d come away with a clean conscience…

  9. …and the NEW emerging military WILL obey orders to shoot Americans.

Comes to that, this former military man WILL shoot back. My oath to “preserve, protect and defend” did not come with an expiration date; only the requirement to do it for a living 24 / 7 / 365.
