3. I plan to retire soon (I keep telling myself that) and when/if that happens a dog is on my list. It’s been 49 years since I last had one and I still think of him all the time.

7. @Different Tim, I agree with F4UCorsair. there are so many rescue or shelter animals that need a home. You won’t regret it. My favorite thing about retirement is hanging out with my dogs.
