2 Lawmakers Announce They’re Not Running Again

WLT: This should come as good news to Republicans now facing an ever-shrinking majority over Democrats.

Two more lawmakers have announced that they will not seek re-election to Congress once their terms are up. Rep. Drew Ferguson (R-GA) and Rep. Wiley Nickel (D-NC) have announced their ‘retirement’ from Congress.

So far, 23 Democrats have announced that they are not seeking re-election or are seeking to retire from politics altogether, almost double the number of Republicans.

Although the Democrat lawmakers who have announced that they are exiting politics have all provided different reasons for doing so, I can’t help but think the Biden regime might be the central reason.

Biden’s unhinged policies and clearly declining cognitive health have definitely turned off many Democrats, though few will publicly admit it. more

  1. First off, we need to quit referring them as “Lawmakers”. They don’t do shit about making laws.
Special interest lobbyists Write 2000+ page bills, politicians give them a “Nay” or an “Aye” depending on their own investment interests or how big the bribe was.
That’s the extent of “lawmaking” in this corrupt country.
And don’t even get me started on the many alphabet agencies that think they can make their own rules/laws-EPA IRS ATF ETC come immediately to mind.
    And world, for that matter.

  2. I’m keeping a scorecard on Republicans that voted against Jim Jordan for Speaker. Of the 25 that voted against him 3 are not running again so far.
