30 year-old FINALLY leaves his parents’ home, but first calls cops on his dad over some Legos

FOX: A 30-year-old man who made headlines last week after he was ordered by a judge to vacate his parents’ New York home has officially left the residence, but not before calling the police on his father regarding some missing Legos.

Michael Rotondo was aided by $3,000 contributed by “InfoWars” host Alex Jones, the New York Daily News reported.

Rotondo waved to journalists as he loaded his creaky station wagon with his belongings. The millennial told reporters he called police Friday morning because he believed his 8-year-old son’s Legos were in the basement and his father would not let him look for them. Instead, the father offered to look for specific items and, if he found them, bring them out. The Legos were found after police arrived.  MORE

  1. He doesn’t belong in his parent’s home.
    He belongs in an institution!
    DemocRAT voter? You betcha!!
The only reason that car won’t start is because he doesn’t take care of it… no big surprise!!!
I feel sorry for the kid!

  2. @geoff the aardvark — I couldn’t figure out where the 8 year-old son entered the picture, either. My guess is the adult child sired a child (could hardly call him a father) back in his twenties and the grandchild comes to visit his grandparents and has some nominal “bonding time” with dear old “dad.” In any event it seems clear Rotondo had the upper hand in that house. He shows all the signs of a classic bully who is playing the victim card.

  3. NEVER let an estranged ex, or family member “take a look around” to claim what is theirs. No good can come of it, they’ll take more than what’s theirs, take it to their home, and then YOU will have to get a search warrant or small claims court to get it back.

Nope. It ain’t here, see you in court.

  4. I understand the desire to ridicule this abortion of a family, but why is this news? Why was this a “legal” issue? Do the people of New York actually need Police assistance to find their Legos?

    The whole thing is absurd.

  5. Why does Alex Jones insert himself? Great headlines conservative helps this douche bag. Jones hasn’t learned when you feed a stray they keep coming back and expect more.

  6. The guy’s got to be some kind of mild aspie or something, to have such a shockingly low level of self-awareness. It’s one thing to have wickedly put his own parents through this much grief for so long, but to continue to call public attention to it at the expense of his own dignity…wow.

Don’t think I’m defending him in the slightest but there’s GOT to be some bad wiring upstairs.

  7. And anyone dumb enough I let this litigious, work the system, douche bag on his sofa bettter realize he thinks that is residency and probsbly did a change of address so you to will be forced to pay and wait to evict.

  8. This is one reason why my 2 children are reluctant to reproduce. They don’t want the hassle/headaches associated with child rearing. DH and I don’t blame them. They prefer fur babies over monster human babies. We’re okay with that.

  9. 30. Born around 1988.
He is The Left’s planned end product of the War On Men, 3rd Wave Feminism, Marxist femdom public education, and the Obama Economy.

    He is Obama’s “Julia”.

  10. I’m sure the “distant second cousin” offered Rotando a place to stay with the assurance he/she will never have to make good, as the owner of the AirBnB just became Rotando’s latest victim. Good luck sucker trying to evict this squatter.

  11. IMHO, the wrong party is being dumped on here. There is plenty of blame to be shared.

Millennials are the products of their parents. I see it every day at the school bus stops where high school kids sit in mommy’s minivan waiting for their bus, parents crowd the corner waiting for the junior high bus, and 12 year olds can’t walk the half-mile to a friends house. In the name of keeping them safe, parents have stripped their kids of the ability to cope with the world.

I have no sympathy for this guys folks; he is a product of his up-bringing. His parents created the monster, and true to narcissists, couldn’t deal with it themselves and instead, turned to the courts.

  12. Didn’t he loose custody of his eight y/o, which was the final straw in his parents giving him the boot? They probably bought the Legos for their grandson.

Loser. His baby mama should sue for child support with a seek work order, and his parents should sue for elder abuse.

  13. If I had offspring like this, the next stop would have been filing a restraining order and a “I don’t ever want to see you again – you are dead to me”.

For the grandchild, if anything was to be left to them, it would be put in a trust that would not be accessible until after they were 30 years of age and that several milestones had been met (complete college, no felonies, etc.) and in a way that the sperm donor could not take advantage.

How anyone can go through life so shamelessly is beyond me.

  14. There’s definitely something wrong with him. He is sue-happy, even harassed and sued baby-mama a few times, sued ex employers, his parents, this person, that person, AND his parents say he kept guns in the house and they were terrified of him (with or without guns). They’ve called the police on him and took him to court to no avail. NOW they get him out. He’s someone else’s problem. Wherever he goes, he’ll be a rain cloud.
