Gang tattoos should be considered confessions to crimes, because many gangs only let someone get a tat until he commits a specific crime. The same goes for motorcycle gang patches.

These boys might have been home-grown animals. In any event since tattoos play such a large part in their self-esteem and group belonging how about any person convicted of a felony involving the deliberate injury of another person include, as part of his sentence, the removal of all tattoos on his/her bodies. All of them. Make them have to get them again and from what I’ve seen (ok, I admit I’ve watched a few of the tattoo shows on Discovery of all places) tattooing over skin that has had a tattoo removed doesn’t seem to work as well. Remove the tattoos and remove a big portion of their group identity with gangs. Hell,it may even give a few a chance to get out.
This is why we need Nation Wide Carry. Anybody that wants to carry should be Encouraged to do so. It’s the only thing that will stop this crap. We also need to loosen up the Penal Codes. As it stands now if you were a bystander watching this go down you would be in jeopardy of prosecution in a lot of states if you pulled your pistol.
