My dad’s birthday is 9/11/30/. Before he passed, someone asked him what he thought about what happened on 9/11. He responded that it was a bad thing, but he happened before that horrible thing did, so he couldn’t say 9/11 was all bad.

I have 2 reasons to never forget 9-11 as today 9-11 would also have been my 48th anniversary of marrying my wife on Sept. 11, 1977

<Never Forget….
The “All Seeing Eye of Horus” 1 year anniversary of 9-11.
Wink-Wink, it could have been literally anything, but the Illuminati made it a human eye, GET IT! ?
Worked 3rd shift and had been in bed a short time when my wife came into the bed room and woke me to say a plane had crashed into the World Trade Center. I also recall being in my high school English class when a teacher interrupted the class announcing That Kennedy had been shot and many girls in the class started crying. Life goes on, and so do the haters.

I think it happened right around this time–I was headed to my job just before 9AM and first thing I thought was they tried before and finally did it When the copier guy came in (no TV or radio there) he said Pentagon! portable TV brought in and on all day

This is the day Dick Cheney and George Bush murdered over 4,000 Americans.

I had landed in Dublin, Ireland that morning.
I had September 11, 2001 stamped in my passport.
Drove to Galway to commission machinery.
My brother called me. Nobody there had heard yet.
Watched the day unfold in a pub with many strangers.
Planes grounded, I couldn’t return home…

They were 100% in on it. No doubt about that.

Grounded? In Ireland? In a pub?
Someone had at least one golden ray from that horrid event.
And I’m willing to bet that by the time you were able to return home, the strangers weren’t strangers anymore.
SALUD!

In 2001 after US airspace close, many people were grounded in Canada. One of the things the auction I worked for a few years later handled were rental cars being returned to the manufacturers. The old hands remembered that our lot was jammed with returns because with the restrictions in place, the rental companies unloaded most of their inventory. The lot, which was probably several acres, had no more room.
After I started work there in 2007 at about this time of year, I saw a formation of fighter jets screaming south towards the border which was maybe ten miles away. I gasped and wondered what was going on. Turns out it was just a practice run by the RCAF Snowbirds practicing for the Abbotsford Air Show. Sure scared me, though.
Yes S-S I made the best of it considering the circumstances.
A co-worker was stuck in Hawaii.
Poor bastard…
2
Twenty-four years.
You can raise an infant to a young adult in that time.
And I did.
My boy was just 2 when Islam slammed into our complacency, old enough to know his folks are upset about something and that his dad is suddenly gone a whole lot more, but not old enough to explain 1400 years of Islamic hatred to.
No warrior was I, but in an echo of the total mobilization of WWII I and my cohorts had to meet the sudden surge in military demand. We supported the war with military rations, and in the sandbox they needed quite a many.
I heard the news first from the 2 line LCD pager technology of the day. I still recall the very first message on a sunny September morn, “SMALL PLANE HITS WORLD TRADE CENTER”. Whoever had wrote that had clearly not grasped the enormity of what had just happened.
None of us did.
And 24 years later, I sometimes think we still havent.
…in that time, many men were sent to fight and die in the same theatre where men have fought and died for as long as Mankind has existed. Blood and toil and treasure were expended as they always have been, for no change at all, which is also how it has always been. Wars were won in the field against the enemy before us only to be lost to Democrats behind us. All that was done in 2 decades was undone in 2 minutes, at the stroke of an Autopen on a document a diseased and illegitmate “president” couldnt even be bothered to actually himself sign.
A lot happened.
Little of it good.
We had an illegal alien Muslim “president” installed for no reason other than the color of his skin.
We had a second 9/11 in Benghazi, our surrender brokered by their White House occupying co-religionist, and executed by a vengeful harpy who is very familiar with ordering executions.
Islam has since taken Europe. Islam has taken England. Islam will soon take NYC, and very likely build that long-desired Victory Mosque to profane the very same ground still infused with the bones of Americans that were ground to unrecoverable dust that terrible day in service of a long-dead pedophile.
And Islam infects the very heart of America, with “No-Go” zones and Shari’a police becoming common in places where candidates run for office with speeches in Somali, and an illegal immigrant woman who publicly states that she works only for Somalia nonetheless profanes the title of “US. Representative”, tittering as she “swears” her meaningless and lying oath on a Koran instead of a Bible, leaving her lies on the blasphemous book of hatred where they belong.
We are now a land where Christians are murdered in their churches, on their trains, in their homes, and even in an open field in front of millions of witnesses, with the government they are forced to support minimizing and running interference for the enemy at every turn.
Have we forgotten?
No, its actually worse than forgotten. The crimes of a people bound by a cherim of hatred learned from a blasphemous book wielded as a weapon by evil men are actively SURPRESSED by a sniveling media, with the blame for the most heinous events always somehow turned on the victims.
24 years on, and here we are, once more mourning our murdered, once more counting our dead.
I am ashamed.
Because our ancestors would be counting THEIR dead instead, as they stack them for transport to be flung in the nearest convenient ditch, for the pleasure of whatever carrion eater would lower itself to rip the decaying eyes from their sinful flesh.
It’s unforgettable and so many of my husband’s and my friends from FDNY and NYPD were murdered on that day along with Rev. Mychal Judge the FDNY Chaplain. Saw the Towers fall down from my office window.
I live a block away from my Church and there were months of Funerals all with honor guards and bagpipes and came to dread hearing Amazing Grace on the pipes.
I do remember that that day was on Tuesday and was also a primary day to elect a Mayor. The polls did open but shut shortly after the attacks and rescheduled for another day. This was way before the idiot Rank Choice voting that they’re doing now. No mail in ballots.
At least my polling place come Election
Day is named after a Fireman who grew up with my Hubby. 9/11 was a day off for him but since he was in Manhattan on that day he volunteered to go down town to help and well, you know the rest.
May the Souls of the Faithful Departed
Rest in Peace, Amen.

…I have not forgotten your husbands friend, Geni, nor my other brothers who were slaughtered that day, I most certainly have NOT.
But I am too full of rage and hate to effectively pray today, and I suspect I am not alone in that.
It just seems to me that they were 343 more reasons we should have NEVER turned the other cheek.
Had we truly taken out the trash then…ALL the trash, foreign AND domestic…we would not be where we are today, with yet another string of ideological murders by people who this nations “justice” system will never touch.
This is too public a forum to say what we all know needs done,
But passively waiting to see which of us will be murdered with no consequences NEXT seems wrong…

Unfortunately, NYC voters are about to REALLY forget. The Ayatollah Mamdani is the jihadist’s Victory Mosque.

SNS,
I feel very much the same as you do especially since yesterday where one of our best and brightest was taken from us by a gutless wonder of an assassin.
The lefties just can’t stand to see a Happy, beautiful and Loving family. No one asked me but that’s how I see it.

Irony Curtain,
Hope that you’re wrong. Where’s the Mafia when you need them?
