Hillary Clinton claimed on Monday that the Uranium One scandal engulfing herself and the Obama administration has all been “debunked.”
“It’s the same baloney they’ve been peddling for years, and there’s been no credible evidence by anyone,” said Clinton.
At issue: why Hillary Clinton’s State Department approved the transfer of 20 percent of all U.S. uranium to Putin’s Russia and why nine foreign investors in the deal funneled $145 million to Hillary Clinton’s foundation.
Far from being “debunked,” several mainstream media outlets have confirmed key facts related to the Uranium One scandal—a story first broken by Breitbart News Senior Editor-at-Large Peter Schweizer in his New York Times bestselling book, Clinton Cash.
1. CONFIRMED by the New York Times: The former head of Russia’s uranium company (Ian Telfer) made four hidden donations to the Clinton Foundation totaling $2.35 million.
As the New York Times has confirmed: “As the Russians gradually assumed control of Uranium One in three separate transactions from 2009 to 2013, Canadian records show, a flow of cash made its way to the Clinton Foundation. Uranium One’s chairman used his family foundation to make four donations totaling $2.35 million. Those contributions were not publicly disclosed by the Clintons, despite an agreement Mrs. Clinton had struck with the Obama White House to publicly identify all donors. Other people with ties to the company made donations as well.”
2. CONFIRMED by the New Yorker magazine: Bill Clinton bagged a $500,000 speech in Moscow paid for by a Kremlin-backed bank.
The New Yorker confirmed that Bill Clinton received $500,000 for a Moscow speech paid for by “a Russian investment bank that had ties to the Kremlin.”
“Why was Bill Clinton taking any money from a bank linked to the Kremlin while his wife was Secretary of State?” asked the New Yorker.
Similarly, the New York Times has confirmed that: “shortly after the Russians announced their intention to acquire a majority stake in Uranium One, Mr. Clinton received $500,000 for a Moscow speech from a Russian investment bank with links to the Kremlin that was promoting Uranium One stock.
3. CONFIRMED by the New York Times: Despite claims to the contrary, Uranium One has, in fact, exported “yellowcake” out of America and is “routinely packed into drums and trucked off to a processing plant in Canada.”
The New York Times confirmed that: “Asked about that, the commission confirmed that Uranium One has, in fact, shipped yellowcake to Canada even though it does not have an export license.” MORE

Greg Jarrett at FNC sez that the legal test for a government official is “the perception of impropriety, it doesn’t have to reach actual impropriety.” Is this why Comey went for the “intent” defense?

Last night I watched an old rerun (on the History channel?) about the los costra nostra in Chicago and how long it took to take out the upper echelon of their leadership. It focused on Chicago’s 1st ward where Pat Marcy ran the appointments of judges, lawyers, pols, the police force, city contracts, etc. The reason the FBI were unsuccessful in gaining any ground is because Marcy and his associates were very careful to keep all the activities several insulating layers away from themselves. The FBI could never pin anything on him/them directly. It wasn’t until someone in the highest inner circle, their lawyer, Robert Cooley, decided he wanted out and started wearing a wire. Even then it took three years for the FBI to amass enough evidence to get the big fish.
This started me thinking. Which president is the most likely to have learned the Chicago Way and use it’s tactics? I don’t think it’s a big stretch to imagine how the Democrats have employed organized crime strategies/tactics up and down the line. My hope is that this FBI informant really has the goods on the big fish.
@Thirdtwin – Your comment has nothing to do with the Uranium One scandal. If kids are “losing their insurance” then maybe a call to the parents instead or if you feel that strongly about it, insure some of them yourself.
Just to correct the narrative, There is no solid evidence against the Clintons and it can’t be proven. In many if not most RICO cases, people are convicted on strong circumstanctial

This comment is not directly tied to U-One, but does, I think, have a tie-in to the failure (or intent) of the FBI in its role as gatekeeper to the obama and clinton Mafia. There is no doubt in my mind that Meuller, Comey, (and Clapper in all his roles), were ‘turned’ with the promise of reward or protection. I was re-reading a recent Hillsdale Imprimus “Russian Collusion?” (9/17) in which Mollie Hemingway reminded me that the FBI refused “to perform an independent forensic analysis of the Democratic [sic] email or servers..” (the ones that were leaked, not hacked). And no federal agency (under clinton or obama) ever performed that analysis. In fact, that was left up to a company with direct ties to the clinton campaign, CrowdStrike, who had a huge incentive to blame Russia for “hacking” the DNC’s servers/email.
A couple days ago I read (here?) that Trump directly mentioned Seth Rich’s death. Are they — the WH — finally going to make a thing out of the interconnections between the coverup of U-One, the “Russia, Russia, Russia” narrative, the missing DNC emails, Seth Rich, and all the rest? I ask because in my mind, anyway, there are no discreet “scandals” in the Democrat camp. No, I believe it has been one, long, unbroken chain of lawlessness and corruption starting well before obama took office.
The real details of the U-One scandal will get released 25 years after the rest of the JFK records are released.
