Emmy-winning actress Ann B. Davis, who became the country’s favorite and most famous housekeeper as the devoted Alice Nelson of “The Brady Bunch,” died Sunday at a San Antonio hospital. She was 88.
Bexar County, Texas, medical examiner’s investigator Sara Horne said Davis died Sunday morning at University Hospital. Horne said no cause of death was available and that an autopsy was planned Monday.
Bill Frey, a retired bishop and a longtime friend of Davis, said she suffered a fall Saturday at her San Antonio home and never recovered. Frey said Davis had lived with him and his wife, Barbara, since 1976. MORE

R.I.P. Alice
See this is why Mom always said, Never play ball in the house!
Good gawd! I thought she was 88 when the show first aired!
She was typecast since the Bob Cummings show, but a class act all the way. God Bless Ann B. Davis.
May the souls of the faithful departed, through the Mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen
RIP Annie. Thanks for being you.
Is her twin sister still alive?

Alice’s House
Hubba Hubba,,,,, no wonder Sam the butcher wanted a piece of that.
Enjoyed your work.
RIP
Even though the Bradys were portrayed as responsible honest hard-working Conservative American parents, and they did serve as role models for a lot of young people to a certain extent. In fact, I’m sure memories of scenes and scenarios played out, stored away somewhere in the back of our minds, still have an effect on people’s character…
It was Alice who brought that simple reliable wholesome maturity and wisdom that could always be relied upon to do the right thing and serve as a solid wall of the foundation of the American Family!!!
I like he gives Alice the that smile Sam gets on his face right before he gives Alice his meat! Alice seemed to enjoy Sam giving her the meat too, because she always seemed to have a grin on her face too when her Sammy-Poo was around!!!
