With 29 percent of precincts in, McDaniel leads Cochran by 5 votes — 32,247 to 32,242.
9:45 pm (CDT) 80% votes in McDaniel 50% Cochran 48%
10:27 p.m.: Now 93 percent of precincts in, McDaniel 49.8 percent and Cochran 48.6 percent. This will probably be decided tomorrow with absentee and affidavit ballots.
