BOXER ‘LAUGHED OFF’ PATTY MURRAY’S SEXUAL HARASSMENT INCIDENT

Big Government

Feminist champion and “war on women” advocate Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-CA) reportedly laughed off an alleged sexual-harassment incident involving a female Democrat colleague who had her breast groped by a male senator.

After Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) revealed in a book that male colleagues have made sexist comments to her, the Washington Post‘s Karen Tumulty recounted an incident in Clara Bingham’s 1997 book, Women on the Hill, in which Sen. Patty Murray (D-WA) “found herself alone in an elevator one evening with 91-year-old Sen. Strom Thurmond (R-S.C.), who did not recognize her as a colleague. He inquired whether the ‘little lady’ was married – and then proceeded to grope her breast.”

Tumulty wrote that she “received a pre-publication version of the book to review for theLos Angeles Times,” and “in that version, Bingham wrote that the outraged Murray had confided the incident to her colleague and fellow Class of 1992 senator, Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.), who laughed it off.”

  1. Yeah because Murray’s tits are just freaking irrestible. Even if he did it, just by groping that pig, he’s already off the hook due to dementia or insanity. His defense lawyer could have had Murray flash the jury and his unsound state of mind is beyond confirmed. Except now the defense lawyer is in the box for cruel and unusual punishment.

  2. No witnesses and a dead perp who can’t defend himself. How very convenient. You get to [expletive] on your political enemies and proclaim your victimhood so anyone who doubts you becomes morally suspect. Heads I win, tails you lose. This looks like a put up job to me no matter the known facts about Thurmond (please let’s remember he was a Democrat).

  3. Any of you who think that the average Republican politician is one iota less capable of dispicable behavior than the average Democrat politician is nor of sound mind. The problem you have is a failure to recognize that CAREER politicians are far more likely than not morally compromised individuals who are not and never have been fit for high office. Unfortunately as time progresses the Republican party has been taken over by the type of individuals who our founding fathers would have tarred and feathered instead of ever taking seriously.
