It was “conventional wisdom” back in the day – blacks are ticketed more often by white racist cops. Al Gore used it as part of his presidential campaign rhetoric.
The police demanded a study. The study was performed, and guess what?
Turns out blacks speed much more than whites. The study was irrefutable, and the left covered it up and dismissed it.

I always thought she had a strong logical mind and this article (and her books) support that. I never got her love affair for Chris Crispy Cream Christie though.
Oh, and I’m thinking before the Republicans led the civil rights movement; there were probably a hell of a lot of Southern Democrat cops pulling blacks over in excess.
Blacks commit the majority of crime in America in spite of their small numbers. If the left wants to call this racism, then Blacks bring it on themselves. The only thing disproportional about this is the enormity of crime committed by a minority.
The left projects their incredibly evil history onto their opposition. Look at how many people have been killed by leftist governments (I include Hilter because hew was 2 inches to the right of Stalin – but Mao, Stalin killed 10x as many each as Hitler).

I think maybe it was just that she was in awe of a republican that would stand up on his hind legs and defend himself forcefully—and on that, I have to agree.
I think, for example, that Mitt Romney is actually a pretty conservative guy and would have made at least a decent President, but since he never showed any passion for his arguments, we’ll never know. No doubt the geniuses at the rnc advised him to be low key and not “go negative.”

Just like the Centers for Disease Control gun violence study from 2011 that no one heard about because it didn’t find the conclusion it was supposed to. It confirmed that guns are far more likely to be used defensively by law-abiding citizens and proved that the left pads “gun violence” statistics with suicide and police shooting numbers.
