Well done Fur.
Hey, I think Romney called that play in which would explain everything.
Nothing as delicious as liberal tears. Weap away, Seattle!
Dude, I was hillary…
LOL, that picture is priceless.
I predict that last play affects the Seahawks next year – it will change the relationship between cheater Pete and many of the players.
Chief are you still bitter about last year? 😉
NE lost 2 Stupor Bowls because of fluck plays, tonight they won one because of a fluck play…happens in close games…..Karma’s a bitch
It was only 2nd down. If it didn’t work, they had one yard, 2 more downs & one time out…coaches love to show their ‘genius’
…give credit to the rookie for making a great play
Last year?
Seatle needs some big ass white guys and less loud mouth dreads
Seattle
Hey! I won two-fifty on the game! $2.50
Last year’s superbowl.
Pete Carroll should be sent to the gulag to coach the Cleveland Browns.
Not sure if my head hurts from all the facepalms or from being forced to watch Bob Costas for a few minutes. Maybe both.
Pinkie
For good or bad, I’m a Bears fan.
Can we talk about 1985 now?
Well, to all you “experts” 1) Carroll doesn’t call the offensive plays, Bevell the O-Coordinator does. 2) Theres’ a sh*tload of farmers, ranchers, and other good conservative folk in these parts that are Seahawk fans. and 3) When it comes to cheating, which NFL team has a somewhat constant cheating black cloud hanging over them?
Think Sherman’s a loudmouth dred? Fine, but unlike you he graduated from Stanford.
It was a great game and many of us are bummed our team didn’t win. Unfortunately one team wins and one loses, that’s how it works. But going on a message board and trashing Pete Carroll or Sherman shows real class and a buttload of moral cowardice.
Next time show a little graciousness and keep you nasty comments to yourself. Although I know you wouldn’t get quite the thrill.
Actually he a loud mouth asshole who went thru Stanford on an athletic scholar ship. The loud mouth part is unfortunate because he’s a gifted athlete and I would enjoy watching him BUT his mouth ruins it for me. Are we clear? Your not out overturning cars and setting shit on fire are you?
Conservative Hawks fan here: In spite of the uncalled interference that cost the Hawks a drive, they had this game won, then gave it away with that last play. I take some consolation in that they could have simply given the ball to Lynch and it would have been done. O coach defeated them, not the Pats.
I haven’t followed everything that Sherman has said, but he’s entitled to an opinion, and to be a little ticked that they have usually not gotten the respect they deserve. Even in this game, it seemed the commentary, particularly in the first half, favored the Pats.
I agree that I could admire Sherman as an athlete.
However, his BS about Crabtree a couple years ago and his talking smack to Brady made him ripe for me to root against him.
“But going on a message board and trashing Pete Carroll or Sherman shows real class and a buttload of moral cowardice.”
Wrong, loudmouths need to be handed their shit and have it fed back to them when the tables are turned.
Win or lose with class, otherwise STFU.
One more thing.
That ‘missed call’ balanced out the ‘Roughing The Kicker’ NON-CALL in the first quarter.
Google Jason Whitlocks article on how the hip hop mentality has NFL coaches hiring more white athletes.
Oda.
Those plays were not dialed up at the last second and just thrown in by Bevell on a whim.
Learn the game. These situational plays are pre-determined.
Carroll goes over packages with the OC and this series was goal line inside a minute.
They had already determined that they were going to run, then pass to eat up clock, then run 2 more times.
Carroll OKAYED this series in advance.
Do you think the coach stands around not knowing what’s going on?
He hears the play calls from upstairs. Do you think he hears something that he thinks is stupid and he stands there helplessly?
Carroll took responsibility because he knows he is the one responsible.
For a guy “correcting experts” you seem to not know what is going on.
You’re right, Fur. Geoff C. and I watched in stunned anguish — could not believe that arm was stretching out overhead for a pass. They had the game. If it had been lost in a valiant play, that’s forgivable. But they just gave it away. Win some, lose some I guess. They’ll be talking about Carroll’s call forever.
And to those who think ‘Hawks football fans are a bunch of pot-smoking idiots, you couldn’t be more wrong. Here’s part of why we watch:
“Making of a Champion: Seattle Seahawks” (God on the Gridiron)

We’ll see how Ro 8:28 plays out here in latte land.
Karma Baby! The Seasquawks didn’t belong in the SB anyway.
The Packers dominated them for 55 minutes and then gave it away.
Too funny….If Seattle had scored on the pass….Pete Carroll would be the most brilliant mind in football.
Coulda, Woulda, Shoulda. The best team won.
