When you’re having a bad day, even the slightest snag can push you over the edge. On the other hand, a surprising act of kindness can lift your spirits and drastically improve your outlook.
I wanted to thank the team that was working last night when I came through the drive through with my three year old and could not find my wallet. The woman working the window at this time turned and asked a manager quietly and turned and respectfully told me they made the decision to let us have the meal. What they did not know was that we had just been at the hospital for many hours after having to ride emergency to the hospital in the ambulance because he was so sick.
You know, I would love to visit a Chik-Fil-A and thank them by buying a chicken sammich. But because it’s a company run by a person who promotes Christian values, there aren’t any in my area.
The Chick-Fil-A nearest to me is six miles away, but it’s next to Wal-Mart. So I’m in there as often as I go grocery shopping.
Not that Jews or Muzz wouldn’t, but Christians do practice charity.

Chik-Fil-A sounds better and better all the time.
My son works at Chik-Fil-A. He chose to work there because he gets Sundays off so he can go to church.
It is walking distance from our home so we eat there once a week or so. His coworkers are some of the coolest young people I have come across.

I ate lunch at a CfA today. It was more crowded than I ever remember. Maybe this story had something to do with it.
