  1. And when Denmark has such a wind power spike, they have to pay their neighbors to accept the excess or risk damage to the grid.

    BTW, I think Denmark pays the highest electricity rates in Europe, higher then even the dumb ass (solar panels in cloudy northern Europe) Germans. 4 times the cost that comes into my house.
