I am so sick of Officers working at the Ports of Entry being referred to as “Border Patrol” time and time again!! These are CBP Officers, formerly known as Customs Inspectors or Immigration Inspectors before the 2003 creation of DHS. Border Patrol Agents patrol between the ports of entry and do not deal with people seeking legal entry at the ports. Rather they deal with the illegal aliens, drug/alien smugglers, etc., crossing the international boundaries of the U.S. illegally. Damn it, I wish these publications would get it right! Thank you.
