Social Justice Warriors will not be satisfied so long as any remnant of the South as a cultural entity continues to exist. Since they encountered no significant resistance in their jihad against the Rebel Flag, now they are going after the very word “Dixie”:

Cultural progressives in Winston-Salem, North Carolina want to change the name of the Dixie Classic Fair.

  5. What kind of word or flag can be put out there to commemorate all the Africans who sold their fellow Africans into worldwide slavery? I’m sure that many latter-day American Africans must be so proud of that achievement. What other continent and people so proudly and ruthlessly sold literally millions of their fellow citizens and neighbors to live and work as slaves? I wonder how much money the African Africans made selling their fellow people like cattle and chattel! I don’t think that many African Africans regretted what they did or gave their lives fighting for the freedom of their fellow designated slaves, but I could be wrong! Amazing, only the buyers are condemned and ostracized while the sellers skate! Must be a black and white issue!

  13. The reason for this is so the democrat party can bury its past. They are trying to rid this country of its collective memory of the truth about the democrat party and its love of slavery, segregation, racism, and anti civil rights. So, when confronted with this truth, the demmorhoids can answer, “Confederacy? What was that?” And the progressive press and the gov’t union schools will ensure that the discussion stops there.

    I’m old enough that I participated in my high school talent show (when I was in 8th grade) and performened to “Dixie”.

    I then had an argument in freshman college civics class about UGA banning “Dixie”.

  36. Not true, Brad. ‘Catholic’ has nothing to do with, ‘Roman Catholic.’

    Catholic is the belief in Christ, the last supper, communion, the 3 in one- Father, Son, and Holy Ghost (Lutheran, early Episcopal, some Baptist sects (can’t think off the top of my head of the others) “…one holy, catholic, and apostolic church…”

    ‘Roman Catholic’ sees the Pope as it’s leader and head of the hierarchy.

    There is a definitive difference between the two references.

  40. Hey Bubba I’m not Catholic, the wife is. I’d like to tell you this didn’t piss me off, but it did. All of our kids were Baptized it the Catholic church. We’ve attended that church since we’ve been married. Something wrong with this guy. Funny thing is before we started the gun thing we used to supply parts to major defense contractors that built shit that killed a bunch of people. No problem with those guys.

Current history books omit the fact that there was no slavery in the colonies until a black man named Anthony Johnson brought a court case which ultimately determined that human beings could be considered property, and for the next 20 years, only blacks could own black slaves. Africans captured their enemies and it was the muslims and jews that bought, sold and transported slaves….and since over 90% of the slaves were brought over in ships owned by jews, this flag should incorporate the star of david. The jewish community always says that it can relate to black community because of the slave issue. Yeah, like buying and bringing them to the US.

  57. hey y’all, I predicted this shit would happen over a month ago! It was right after that horrible church slaying where the leftist racist killed 9 people.

    I predicted that after the PC fascists finished going after the Rebel Flag that they would next go after the word “Dixie”.
    1) Street signs for Old Dixie Highway would be removed.
    2) Race card hustlers and extortionists like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton would sue Winn-Dixie supermarkets because they have deep pockets.
    3) I also said the Islamic Fascist moslems at CAIR would sue Piggly Wiggly “because it is filth unto Allah (Satan)” or some shit like that.

    I hope if sued, Winn-Dixie fights this all the way to the Supreme Court. And if they lose there, they change their store name to LOSER-YANKEE.

    I’ve always been a loyal Winn-Dixie shopper but from now on they and Piggly Wiggly get ALL my business. I also went to a local embroidery joint and got them to make me a cap with the Rebel Flag on it with “Heritage, Not Hate” underneath the flag. I’ve got not not one complaint and got many many compliments.

    The South lost the War of Northern Aggression. But America will not lose the War of PC Fascist Aggression.
