EAG: MASHPEE, Mass. – A Massachusetts superintendent is the subject of a police investigation after the mother of a student alleges he barged into their home and went through her daughter’s things.

Marilyn King alleges Mashpee schools superintendent Brian Hyde arrived at her home Tuesday morning escorted by a police cruiser and demanded to know where her daughter slept, and to see if her clothes were in the home, the Cape Cod Times reports.

The visit was the culmination of a residency dispute between the family and the school district. King told the news site she had been attempting to re-enroll her 17-year-old daughter Isabel in Mashpee High School after living in Florida. King said Hyde was apparently upset because she had discussed her difficulties in enrolling Isabel with a Cape Cod Times reporter.  More here

  1. Anybody wanna put money on whether he’s a self-absorbed, White guilt-ridden, bottled-water-drinking, kumbaya-singing, Xanax-disabled, Rainbow Plantation, COEXIST bumper-sticker, Obama-voting Liberal fascist or just the regular light-in-the-loafer kind?

  2. Another interesting point: search warrants are ordered by judges for the POLICE to execute, not duchess school administrators.

I wouldn’t have even allowed them into the house.

  3. Not in Mass (which rhymes with ‘ass’). He had the po-lice with him, which meant she was powerless. Apparently, that po-lice had never heard of the Fourth or Fifth Amendments to the United States Constitution. Oh, and no one in Mass (which rhymes with ‘ass’), even remembers the Second Amendment, hence the powerlessness of the home owner.

  4. Yeah. . . . I sense a conflict of story here. . . . someone is attempting to Cover Their Ass, and coming up waaaay skimpy, butt (see what I did there?) maybe “he” likes it that way.

I hope the mother (grandmother?) takes the school board to the cleaners. If she wins, too bad the serfs (not citizens) of the district will end up paying for it.
