JIM WEBB TARGETS POLITICAL CLASS: AVERAGE AMERICANS DON’T HAVE BODYGUARDS

BigGovernment: During the October 13 Democratic debate, the second question asked by moderator Anderson Cooper was about guns—he asked each presidential hopeful to explain the gun laws they believe are necessary and also how they plan to secure the passage of such laws.

In answering, Hillary Clinton and Martin O’Malley went directly after the NRA and pressed massive gun controls, while former Sen. Jim Webb defended the 2nd Amendment and attacked the rhetoric of the political class by pointing out that the “average American” doesn’t have bodyguards.  more here

  1. I think Jim Webb is in the wrong political party. He’s what I would consider an old school democrat, and for the most part, they have been purged form the party. I read his book and enjoyed it, too. It’s about the influence the Scots/Irish have had on the nation. Of all the democrat candidates at the debate last night, he’s the only one who isn’t a complete kook.

  2. He was the best on the stage. He doesn’t fit in the modern (D) party.

Sadly, he was used as window dressing. To add insult to injury, they included Chafee, who probably is the biggest moron to ever hold high office, and only because of his father’s name.

The (D) party is in serious trouble and they act like they don’t know it, but they see the polls.

  3. My first ballot since becoming a US citizen was for this guy. I even did telephone calls and neighborhood campaign for him. (I never voted for a Democrat since.) Before the vote for Obamacare, I sent him a few emails and left a message on his official number asking to consider not voting for it. He never answered any of my emails and call. He voted for Obamacare anyway and his record is 100% along party line. He is just another Democrat who says one thing then does the opposite. Typical.
