BreitbartTech: Feminists have chased away one of Britain’s finest scientific minds. Sir Tim Hunt, the Nobel prize-winning scientist who was forced to resign from an honorary professorship at University College London (UCL) after false allegations of sexism is now set to leave Britain for Japan.
Hunt was accused of sexism after aggrieved progressive journalists took Hunt’s ironic, self-deprecating comments about being a “chauvinist monster” and presented them as genuine. One of the journalists, Connie St Louis, was later found to have a history of exaggerated claims – most notably on her CV.
Alice T. Goon, what a babe!
Isn’t that the thing off of Popeye?
Always reminded me of Kilroy in drag.
🙂
3rd cousin of Michelle LaVaughn Robinson
But not nearly as malevolent.
When did Mohammad get the boob job?…
“I love Popeye…I love Popeye…”
All we need now is for the Sea Witch to put in an appearance…
Remember the scientist last year who landed a small camera on an asteroid/comet (?) and then had to apologize to all the FemiNazis out there, because they did not like his shirt?
His shirt was somehow offensive to their ultra-sensitive feelings.
These people have teeny-tiny brains, yet carry around a gigantic chip on their shoulders.
I was wrong…I was just throwing up watching the Dem debate and that’s a drawing of Martha Radditz…
Well…“of course” vagina trumps brain…
…that’s why…uuhhhh…nevermind….
Prince William (and his son) better damn well have nerves of steel and a quick resolve, before Englandistan arises….
I love Popeye.
That’s a great picture of Alice the Goon, E. C. Segar who created Popeye was a genius as a cartoonist, his work still stands out today nearly 80 years or more later as one of the best and funniest slap stick comic strips ever. I have all 6 volume of his collected works published by Fantagraphic books out of Seattle. Segar died way too early at 44 from leukemia in 1938 but his good humor lives on forever. Popeye, Krazy Kat, Little Abner, Pogo and even now Calvin and Hobbes are among the best comic strips ever for just general good fun and a wicked sense of humor. Popeye, Olive Oyl, J. Wellington Wimpy, the Sea Hag, Alice the Goon, Eugene the Jeep, Sweepea etc. all will live forever. And in the words of the immortal J. Wellington Wimpy, “I would gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today.”, constantly frustrating Rough House the diner owner. It’s all good stuff.
And my first grand child (hopefully of many) who I found out about yesterday from my son due to be born next August will grow up with a grandfather reading to him or her all of the good humor of Popeye and other great comic strips from the past. It’s going to be fun.
Britain had a genius? Who knew!
And it’s not Stephen Hawking.
Congratulations, Grandpa-to-be! 🙂
