Feel Safe: State Dept. Form Asks Immigrant Fiancés If They Are Planning Terrorism

Breitbart: Texas Governor Greg Abbott tweeted out a reassuring message about the federal government’s anti-terrorism screening process Monday night. He quoted one of the questions in the K-1 fiancé visa application form.

Abbott tweeted “Actual question asked of Visa applicants shows system is absurd: ‘Do you seek to engage in terrorist activities’ while in U.S.?” The governor appeared less than impressed with the federal government’s screening process.  more here

  1. well it is about as logical as saying that ” we are only allowing refugees with young children in” like that stopped the pair in San Bernadino from going on a killing spree. At least when the security at the airport asked dumbass questions they were doing it in person and might pick up on body language when you answer. not sure how that applies when filling out a form.

  2. Form I-129F does not contain this question and it is the only form that I kept getting directed to when searching on stuff related to this issue.

    Please don’t misunderstand — I certainly believe life is way more like the Onion than it isn’t and have no reason to doubt the veracity of this story. I’m just having a hard time finding the form that asks this question. Does anyone know what that form number is?
