When I was the guardian for a teenager, I told his friend who visited that I had two rules. 1. If I thought they had been drinking or were impaired in any way, they weren’t allowed to leave, and they had to call their parents to tell them why. 2. They weren’t allowed to do anything stupid.
Those poor kids broke rule number 2.

Lived in a fancy Colorado ski resort for a few years and without fail several locals WHO KNEW EVERYTHING would ski out of bounds and end up dead. Heck, the grandson of the guy who founded Vail died in an avalanche –its a reckless mindset.
In the courtroom will there be found negligence or an will it be considered an Act of God?
