Trump Rep: I Hate Ted Cruz More than ObamaCare

Upset over events in Congress in 2013, Zach Montanaro publicly wrote that he likely hated Ted Cruz more than he hates ObamaCare. Mr. Montanaro currently works as Donald Trump’s Field Representative and Coordinator in New Hampshire.

In 2013, Ted Cruz was a major force in the fight to defund the Affordable Care Act, also known as “ObamaCare.” While Mr. Montanaro did not support ObamaCare, and in fact said it led to higher costs, it seems he took exception to the way that Mr. Cruz led the fight against it.

Mr. Cruz would eventually filibuster the Senate, speaking for 21 hours. On October 16, he said that he would vote no on a bill that would reopen the government and fund the Affordable Care Act.

The same night, Mr. Montanaro posted this on his Twitter account:
Trump Cruz ObamaCare

Eventually, when the House passed a two-year budget deal in December of the same year, Mr. Montanaro said “Breaking News: Congress does its job.”

According to the New Hampshire Union Leader, Mr. Montanaro was hired by the Trump campaign in March of 2015 as a “field coordinator.” On Mr. Montanaro’s twitter page, he calls himself a “field rep.”

  1. I like both Trump and Cruz but Trump does have some dipshits working for him. I guess Cruz would have had that dipshit Katrina Pierson working for him. Don’t these guys vet anyone working for them?

  2. So Zach thinks the job of congress is to steal taxpayer money and piss it away on whatever foolishness “the people” want to spend it on, Constitution be damned. Cruz used what tools were available to him as a single senator and brought attention to the waste that is obamacare (it was Obama’s choice to shut down govt.). What worries me is that Trump’s thinking on how govt. spends taxpayer money will reflect the “thinking” of his supporters like Zach.

  3. Hearing that Trump might skip the next Foxnews debate if he doesn’t get his way, I was wondering if it mattered at all to Trump supporters. Somehow I bet it doesn’t matter in the very least.

I’ll say this for Trump: he’s refreshingly open and honest about his intention to con you. twitter.com/ddale8/status/…

  5. I only hope that F*** you vote doesn’t end up being a F*** ME vote when his policies align far more closely with Obama than the conservative rhetoric he’s made his front runner status on while campaigning.

  6. “In 2013, Ted Cruz was a major force in the fight to defund the Affordable Care Act, also known as “ObamaCare.””

Thank God! Who knows where we would be as a Nation without that stellar, pointless effort.

If you’re going to applaud that then I don’t want to hear another word about ‘participation trophys’.

Had he chained shut the doors of the chamber and threatened violence I might just respect that.

  7. That would be awesome if he did. I suggested it a long time ago. Take Rand Paul and Carson and hold a televised town hall at the same time as the debate. Wonder who would get better ratings. I bet old Roger would vapor lock.

  8. ..and with all due respect, he didn’t post he hated Cruz more than ObamaCare, he posted that he was ‘leaning Cruz’ …. stupid joke, stupid post, but really nothing to beat one’s breast about…
poor attempt at humor …..nothing more

  9. No, it’s Trump who is the real F*** you, hence the NR, etc. going crazy.

He’s the only one calling for deportations, and at least is a nationalist (not globalist), consistent on trade, etc. vs tpp.
