NYP: Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman can barely get any shuteye in prison because of a “boisterous” guard dog and intrusive guards who check on him every waking hour, according to his lawyer.

“I haven’t been able to sleep at all,” the recaptured drug lord said in a statement through his defense lawyer Jose Gonzalez.- NewYorkPost

  1. In other dirtbag news, one of the dindus who murdered a young family in the most horrendous ways imaginable in their Richmond home on New Year’s Day about 10 years ago, is scheduled for lethal injection in March. However, his demise is now up in the air because the drug company won’t supply the drug. Pharmaceutical investors have pressured companies to not make them available to state governments that would use them for execution.

Old Sparky isn’t a timely option as it would open new cans of worms for the “cruel and unusual” crowd to delay Ricky Gray’s demise further. Bullets are cheap. Firing squad, anyone?

  2. So what does Bubba translate to in Spanish? Jorge, Juan, Pedro, Chico, Carlos, Fidel, Jesus (Hey Zeus). And as far as him not getting any sleep, tough darts, tough toenails, tough shit etc. He’ll get plenty of sleep when he assumes room temperature and takes a permanent dirt nap.

  3. Hanging can be quick and “relatively” painless, if you do it right (just like anything else). Platform height above ground, length of rope, additional weight to give enough force and momentum to snap the neck. All those little details.

As for the muzzies, that’s one way to do it, but usually their swords aren’t sharp. Multiple chops and sawing to get the job done. Not quick, not painless. But still an effective punishment for the current criminal and a deterrent for future ones.
