TRS: This happened a lot quicker than I thought it would. It’s only been a few weeks since Twitter announced it would ask a panel full of left-wing nutjobs to police their social media platform and shut down supposed “bullying,”

Here’s what they said:

As we develop products, policies, and programs, our Trust & Safety Council will help us tap into the expertise and input of organizations at the intersection of these issues more efficiently and quickly.

We have more than 40 organizations and experts from 13 regions joining as inaugural members of the Council. We are thrilled to work with these organizations to ensure that we are enabling everyone, everywhere to express themselves with confidence on Twitter.

I’ve started seeing people say that minor accounts were being banned, but it was hard to know why they were being banned and if it had anything to do with  MORE

  8. Skarew social media, as an old musician I have too many ex’s for fun with social media (as they are all still beautiful and I am an old wizened gnome).
    Liberals have become a bunch of pussies who are foaming at the mouth to be tyrants.
    AND they need to be protected from disagreeable opinions?
    What happened to the curt rejoinder?
    What happened to the verbal riposte?
    Hoisting someone on their own petard?
    Bah!
    The real problem is that there is no more strident conservative than a liberal who just got mugged. So that after they have their epiphany and realize how the world really works they will still be pussy tyrants, only now on ‘our side.’

  15. I used to really like Twitter but the addition of video and images makes the newsfeed junky and hard to read. 140 characters of quality snark was the basis of Twitter. Now, it’s a amalgamation of Instagram, Vine, Pintrest and Facebook.

    I wonder if I’ll get booted off of Twitter for making fun of Michael Medved?

  16. I stick to hashtag comedy mainly on Twitter – I need a break from politics sometimes. But it is important that conservatives fight for their place on social media. The wicked prosper when good people do nothing.

  17. I helped my son set up an awesome train track in his room using shoe boxes as tunnels. Later on I enjoyed a cigar on the deck while conversing with my better half.

  24. Twitter is a leftist test to find the best way to shut down free speech.

    And I’ll go to my grave never knowing what it’s like to tweet or post a facebuck whatever. We do need our own conservative platform that bypasses all the progressive controllers.
