OC: Laundry workouts might soon be the new fitness trend, thanks to a new invention by a group of students at China’s Dalian National University. They’ve created a washer that’s powered by a stationary bike, and they’re calling in ‘b.w.m’ (short for Bike Washing Machine).
“Riding a bike is a popular exercise, washing laundry is something that you might do on a daily basis or at least once a week, so why not combine them into a single useful equipment/appliance,” the makers wrote on Tuvie, a blog dedicated to tech innovations.
The clothes fit into a large drum positioned at the bottom of the stationary exercise bike- more
So easy even Joe Biden can use one.
Wouldn’t it make more sense to put a generator and battery on the bike? Then you could use the stored energy for multiple purposes (including clothes washing).
‘b.w.m’ (short for Bike Washing Machine).
That’s OK
The HTC brand on my smartphone literally
stands for High Tech Computer Corporation
Nothing new under the sun . . .

NOW I HAVE TO WORK OUT TO CLEAN MY CLOTHES??
AIN’T HAPPENING, UNLESS THEY FIND A WAY TO TAP MY 12 OZ CURLS!
AS THEY SAY IN SHARK TANK, I’M OUT!
hey, it won’t shit the bed like all the other appliances will when Kim Jong Un exprodes a high-altitude EMP Electro-Magnetic Pulse weapon in the high atmosphere.
After a week, take the pedals off, attach a car wheel and power it belt drive with a hit and miss.
Of course you have to do it naked or you create more laundry than you clean. . . sort of like wind energy that way.
Then you can put it on the Sit & Spin cycle…
Honey, I’m too tired to wash the clothes today
I think I would be doing only soak cycles. No spin-out either.
It probably has a two ladies’ blouse capacity
Ha! It ain’t even a real thing!
Just a concept.
Well, it’s going to stay a concept because the design problems mounted in the seconds of thought I dedicated to it’s probability.
First, where does the water come from?
Second where does the water go?
Do I have to have the house plumbed for this thing?
How do you get your hipster outfits out of it without dragging your clean clothes on the floor?
How do people not run up to you and kick your ass when they find out you paid 2800 bucks for this idiocy?
Exercise? Laundry daily or weekly?
Hahahahahahahaha!!!!!! 🙂
“And my clothes will still smell the same?”
“The Jupiter 3000 uses only one cup of water per load so your clothes will smell the same as when they went in!”
“Cool!”
The Professor invented this long ago only he made Gilligan do it. No damn exercising.
I’m sure you could rig up a generator, heating element, and compressor so it could dry also.
China. I knew as soon as I saw it before I read the article it was from China. They’re nuts over there.
I only want one if it comes with a Chinese student.
I don’t think my bike will fit in the drum to get it washed.
I have this awesome washing machine, it runs on 120v ac. Works great.
Wash your clothes while riding the b.w.m., on your b.u.m.
