  1. Today was ALL registered Republican ONLY primaries. Cruz won the CAUCUSES (more corruptible process). Trump won the INDIVIDUAL VOTE primaries (more DEMOCRATIC process).

  2. Loco, been there done that, back way off on the weight. Try and achieve perfect form with slow rest pause reps. Start light, 135, every week bump up 5 pounds. Having said that flat bench sucks. It’s an ego exercise that will hurt you most of the time. Hammer strength machines will build better muscle faster. Only idiots fall into that bench press trap.
Fuck that. I like pain. I’ll be benching tomorrow.

  3. Yes but fly’s don’t cause that hard contraction that build power. It’s not a sprint, it’s a marathon, settle in where you comfortable. Just keep showing up. That’s the secret. Just be there.

  4. I agree with hard contraction, that is why I can’t do calf raises.
I can contract the hell out of my calves but then I cannot walk the next day.

The flys do allow for contraction at the top, plus a good range of motion.
    Slow and steady, no jerking.

It is like pull-ups. If I cheat and jerk I can do a bunch of reps in one set.
If I do them proper and controlled I get more out of the exercise but less reps are possible.

  5. Loco, don’t do narrow gripped chin ups. Do wide gripped chins. Here’s how you get there. Get a bench under neath your toes while hanging on to a chin bar as wide as you can grip. Use your feet to fight your way to the top. Use a slow negative on the way down. Just keep doing it until you don’t need the bench anymore. Narrow grip puts a lot of pressure on the delts for us old people. It’s a smart exercise.

  6. Brad, for years I always did overhanded, wide grip chins.
I wanted to hit the back for the V shape.
It hits the lats and rear delts hard.
It can strain the shoulders if you aren’t careful.

Now I mostly do shoulder-width underhanded grip.
It hits the front delts, lats, biceps, & core pretty solidly if done properly.
ABS get hit too if you hold the legs parallel to the floor.

  7. Are you using straps? Lifting straps get the torque out of the forearms and hands and reduce the pressure on the delts. I couldn’t do wide grip chins with out straps. To painful on the shoulders.
