WASHINGTON, May 3 (UPI) — The U.S. Energy Department said it has $25 million in funding to help software developers and utility provides better integrate solar power to the grid.
“Our ongoing grid modernization work will help accelerate the widespread adoption of the clean energy resources that will define our low-carbon future” Lynn Orr, the Energy Department’s undersecretary for science and energy, said in a statement. “This funding will help that mission by supporting industry partners working to integrate, store, and deploy solar energy throughout our electric grid.” more
Hey, here’s an idea:
Fire a boiler connected to a turbine-generator set with $25 million worth of dollar bills. You’ll get a lot more usable energy out of it, and it’s easier on the environment than constructing PV panels.
NOT throwing money at “solar power” –
throwing money at the politicians, their donors, and con men using “solar power” as an excuse to further plunder the Treasury.
izlamo delenda est …
We’re figuring it out for ourselves already.
This money goes right to corrupt crony politicians and the businesses they’re involved with.
It’s just money laundering.
Our taxes get sent to businesses, the businesses send money to politicians.
All solar accomplishes is increasing the cost of electricity.
