The Big Green job-killing machine – IOTW Report

The Big Green job-killing machine

The abuse of environmentalist power to hurt people never stops.

IceAgeNow: “Another one gone,” began the Lost Coast Outpost’s report in late January. A.A. “Red” Emmerson, chairman of Sierra Pacific Industries, announced the permanent closure of its sawmill on Samoa Peninsula in Arcata, California – with the loss of 123 crew member jobs (and over 100 secondary jobs that depended on sawmill employment).

green is the new red

Regulatory burdens and reduced allowable harvests from federal forests are the primary reasons for the closure, Emmerson said.

The shutdown of the last mill on once-bustling Humboldt Bay this year was just the latest loss in the timber industry’s long and steady decline under relentless environmentalist pressure and U.S. Forest Service complicity.  more

  1. EnvironmentallyRetardedism – another Satanic death cult.

Their agenda is the extermination of the human race. Or, at the very minimum, reduction of humanity to tiny pockets of stone-age mud-hut dwellers.

Except for the “elite” of course, who will rule from the airy, utopian, socialist, environmentally safe “Stratos” – the city in the clouds.

Their delusions are only surpassed by their imbecilities – and the greed of their politicians – and the gullibilities of Academia.

  2. The “environmentalists” have set true environmentalism back decades by embracing the AGW scam. How can anything they now say be trusted when they stick to such an outrageously obvious lie?

  3. How much propoganda can the commie-pinko-fag-bedwetters at the epa afford with a $6 billion slush fund? Hell, they can fund our death with our own money with no knowledge of our legal lawmakers and legal money-spend…wasters in congress. Lotta dough even over a 26 year period.

“More than $6 billion in settlements from parties found to have polluted Superfund toxic waste sites has been deposited in more than 1300 bank accounts since 1990. The EPA has spent about half that amount and no one knows on what.”

How many other agencies do this?
