EAGNEWS: BRIGHTON, Colo. – The principal at Southeast Elementary in the Adams County School District apparently thinks a clear plastic bubble gun qualifies as “a firearm facsimile that could reasonably be mistaken for an actual firearm.”
At least that’s what one mother told ABC 7 after she was forced to pick up her kindergarten daughter from the school for blowing bubbles with the fake firearm during indoor recess. The girl brought her “princess” bubble gun to school in her backpack unbeknownst to her mother, and the principal dropped the hammer with a one-day suspension for violating school policy.
“I apologized right away and said that I am sorry she did that,” said the mother, who did not want to be identified. “I appreciate that they’re trying to keep kids safe, I really do. But there needs to be some common sense. It blows bubbles.”
Well of COURSE they did! Getting a soap bubble in the eye is sooo dangerous!

Arrest the janitors and maintenance people for bringing items like caulk guns, screw guns, heat guns, etc… on the school grounds!
Is there a styling gun (hair dryer) in the faculty lounge? Someone needs to be frog walked off campus.

My grandkids have been playing with bubble guns in our backyard. Wonder if the neighbors are terrified of us.
I have one of those! I bought it at Dizzyland, it even lights up too! I think I’ll get it out and play around with it. I hope Trump gets elected and stops all this foolishness.

Goldenfoxx, I think it will take more than Trump. He will certainly help. But this bullshit is entrenched right down to the local level. I had my fun with these assholes 10 years ago with my oldest son and they’ve gotten a lot worse. I’ve got some great stories. Including one where they tried to expel him for a fight that occurred on a Saturday at a local park. Miles away from school grounds. Had to get an attorney for that one, but they dropped the expulsion like a hot rock as soon as they found out we had hired legal counsel. These asses just try and push it as far as they can.

Ahem…on the post, the stupidity here is beyond comprehension. But it’s the schools.
Allow me to digress…it’s relevant…my youngest had a track meet today. He was doing long jump. I haven’t watched school track since I did it. The first WTF was that the students were only allowed to qualify for 2 events, so there could be more participation…you are THE BEST but can’t “run the table” as it were. Fuck that. Got into an argument with another parent (a school teacher) about this as it was all about”letting everyone have an experience”and when I objected, I was told that I should look at the private teams, and let everyone get the feelies.
Grrrrr. So the actual jump takes place. No white jump board…a fucking green chalk box which was more obscured by each jumper. I observed multiple “foot faults” which were counted as jumps.
It’s all over, I say to my dad who came to watch, “I’m going to be an asshole.” I approached the “officials” and asked why they didn’t clean the jump board between jumpers as it was really unclear where the take-off was. One (forgive my French) bitch (overweight wearing Lycra pants) looked at me and did the jaw drop, eye roll and looks to her “team” to reply to me. I’m told that the kids “know” where the take-off is and that if they swept, it would remove the chalk.
I’m so pissed at the whole thing, it’s so pussified and Progressive.
I also noticed multiple jumpers stutter stepping to the take off. I asked my son if he knew how to determine his take off point. No clue…never been shown.
Grrrrr. I showed him how to do it after.
So fuckin’ pissed at the shit that they are downloading to our kids.
This is all about attacking the so-called “gun culture”. The SJW’s who run the schools need to be pistol whipped!
Then there’s the Allegheny county NY high school where three male teachers have been charged with sex crimes against students. The remarkable issue is the school board and fellow teachers covered up for the rapists but the grand jury will not charge them.
School is not a safe place. Boys in the girls’ locker room, teachers raping students, naked teachers running around. Cougars too! SHEESH!

@Zonga – I’m appalled but not surprised. Govt child indoctrination establishments are in too many cases criminal enterprises. This is one.
Any parents who still send their kids to govt institutions like this are skating on thin ice, are mighty damned close to child abusers.
How will children keep their natural common sense, or develop common sense, when they are sent to schools where the adults are completely lacking any common sense?
i had several of those bubble-guns……i used them for meteorological research…..i spent hour after hour on windy days, shooting off bubbles, to watch how they ran around the front yard…they behaved quite differently in the shade of apple trees…..blowing them over the running air conditioner led to amazing tornados of bubbles…..it was very interesting to be able to actually SEE the air currents flowing through the yard……sometimes, a bubble would fly so high i could no longer see it, before it would burst….
this would actually be a decent class project to study air currents….but, since it involves things that look like big purple and pink, with lime green accents, GUNS…..you can be sure your local school board will refuse to allow it……
so buy a couple bubble guns, and use them at home…..your kids will thank you for it…..like i said, it’s ever so cool to be able to SEE the air currents around your house……
we still need to delete all these useless idiots running our schools, tho……
