BlurBrain: Remember the Accountability Review Board, appointed in the wake of the Benghazi attack that killed four Americans in September 2012? The ARB, headed by former ambassador Thomas Pickering didn’t bother to interview State officials of higher rank, such as Hillary Clinton, and tried to lay the responsibility on low-level staffers instead.

According to the new majority report from the House Select Committee on Benghazi, that may not have been a coincidence.

Cheryl Mills, the longtime attorney, friend and former chief of staff for Hillary Clinton, influenced the findings of an internal State Department review of the 2012 Benghazi terrorist attack, according to a draft of the final House Benghazi Committee report.  more

  1. I was hoping Trey could have been more blistering but the Dome (rep Cummings) would not be stopped in doing everything possible to protect Hillary.

For those of us who are in the know (a.k.a. high information voters) this is frustrating and for the democrat base (a.k.a. low information voters) nothing has changed because they are clueless.

Now is the time for Trump to take that ax out and start swinging. Where is he?

  2. Wait until we find out the rest of the stuff when Trump is President. He should early on create the Open Door Commission with members at every cabinet level department allowing employees to expose all the corruption that has been occurring for the last 8 years, without fear of reprisal.

We need to rip out the bad actors embedded throughout government, root and branch.

    And then prosecute.

Imagine Lois Lerner and John koskinen behind bars.
    It’s easy if you try.

Unfortunately there is only one branch of govt with all the weaponry and that is the executive. Neither Congress nor the Judicial have law enforcement capabilities, whereas the exec has the military, DOJ including FBI, CIA, plus the militarized dept of interior, etc.

So, if you have president Caligula the only line of defense, an admittedly under armed one, is the citizenry, but we’re limited to light arms.

i think the founding fathers assumed that we’d always elect basically moral men so didn’t give congress its own army.

I worry that Obama realizes this and wouldn’t leave the White House if he didn’t feel like it. He could go full despot and since he’s cherry picked his military brass that they’d do his bidding.

I don’t think anyone has ever had to contemplate this until this guy came along. It’s an honor system that only works for honorable men and women.
