ReaganBaby: If guns commit murder, then it’s not a stretch to say that vehicles are killing the environment. Right? “Car Emissions vs. Car Crashes: Which One Is Deadlier?” reads a headline in Mother Jones magazine. “Car emissions are deadlier than car crashes,” they conclude.
To most Americans the car, perhaps more than any other item, has long represented freedom and opportunity. But at a time where freedom, opportunities and liberties are being rapidly taken away by government, symbols of individual freedom become more important.

What’s next when that inevitably isn’t enough for the statists? Human control? Progressivism, socialism, communism – I don’t see a lot of difference. Statists all. Historically, when taken to their ultimate conclusion they always seem to end with a mountain of skulls. These people really need to be dealt with.
If anything symbolizes the free and breezy American lifestyle, it is the car. That “drives” (NPI) the statists crazy and needs to be controlled/eliminated and we all need to be packed into buses and trains for our own good. The environment’s got nothing to do with it. Might this be the overreach that pushes the lofos over the edge? Dunno, I am reminded of boiling frogs. Incrementalism is the key to their success and they need to be fought at every turn. Rush was right!
That ‘car’ needs a pedicure.
I can’t believe how many imbeciles would happily sign up to get those little Snitch Devices that install in your car and report your driving behavior to Big Brother. Wake up, people.
@Corona You’re close. I think some laces right down the hood would look right sporty. Maybe a skate key to complete the ensemble.
